Will Westbrook on the Clippers help or hurt them?

Plumlee was money in fantasy a few years back, barely drafted and put up like 16/10/5 consistently

how long will russ put up the good soldier act

Unless Balmer has a medical issue.. craziest cutscene just now

Russ just scored on a fast break and Kings called a timeout.. Russ walking off the court and they cut to Balmer with a drink of some sort.. lifting it up and his hand was shaking very erratically. Problably just coincidence

I saw that too. He must have a medical issue of some kind. His hand was shaking like someone that has Parkinsons.

Plumlee is solid athletic big. Crazy how he shoots better with his left hand now lololol

Is Zubac injured?

He was last night, normally he starts and Plumlee comes off the bench.

176 points.
But gave up 177?

Damn.

I read the Clips were up big in the 4th, but there were a situation of 5 straight TOs. Not surprised about the TO situation and defense.

The Clips will probably put up a lot more points now, with increased speed of offense. But they'll also be TO prone, and defensively challenged.

On paper though the way Kawhi, PG3 are playing, they are a legit threat. PG3 and Kawhi are less ball dominant than Lebron, and this may make it a bit easier for them. They both have played with ball dominant PGs before. I feel their fit is definitely better than the fit with AD/Bron on offense.

0-2 when WB added to your team
4-1 when you trade WB for some quality role players

Yep. We may have solved the problem here of what was the Trojan horse.

Russ was benched for the 4th quarter and OT against the Nuggets. It's only a matter of time before the negative energy starts.

How do you go from winning like 10 out of last 14 games, then signing Russ and just immediately starting him b/c PG wants him to (which is a slap in the face of the guys who were already doing the job there).

This has all the hallmarks of the chemistry issues that happened with Bev/Kawhi+PG. PG's alliance to Russ may be the undoing of this team.

The Sail Boat crew should get a win against the Grizzlies. Ja won't be playing.

How many games have the Lakers picked up on the Clips since the trade? At least three, right? And more hopefully to come!

VLF in shambles...

It would be a trip if the Lakers were the ones that takes the final playoff spot over the Clippers.

If we had the current players at the beginning of the season instead of redacted, we'd easily be a top 4 seed in the West, even with LBJ/AD's injuries.

Not sure about top 4, but for sure a playoff 6 locked in. West is much weaker this year than prior.

The WB trade wasted 2 years, a coaching staff that won a ring, and basically unless Lebron comes back on a tear next year, we messed up a chance to get another ring.

I mean on the bright side at least we have a good team again.

I believe we are 7-3 since the trade deadline. That's with LBJ/DLO out for a lot of those games. I think top 4 is easily within reach.

The only hope for top 4 would be making up 7 games (8 in the loss column) on the Grizz. which is the only team that should be dropping a decent amount of games.

5-6 would be a believable miracle.
7-8 would be expectation if health is in our favor.

We've had a lot of fortune there though, I think like we have played teams without their stars. OKC with SGA. Warriors one game without Steph, second game right after he returned. We played a few others like Grizz and Pels without their best player.

I mean season started off with most of those teams having their best players. So it's tough to be certain we'd beat those teams at this rate (without Lebron) with those teams healthy.

But for sure, we're better than a play in team since the WB trade. If we had made this trade at season's start, or something along those lines, we'd be definitely in the playoff 6 IMO. And that's all you need really with AD/Bron. Give them a shot at the playoffs and if they're healthy/peaking at the right time. It's crazy how bad that trade was. Literally take away the time that WB is on the Lakers (Pre-WB and post-WB) and you have a championship level team with AD/Bron, and at least a playoff team with an injured AD/Bron. Crazy. And it cost us 2 picks, 2021 and 2027. I just hope Jeanie pays to keep this roster in tact, but I won't hold my breath on that.

Hope so despite the odds, if we can get top 6 and skip the play-in that's a season salvaged.
