If AD will be missing b2b, that means he’ll also miss one of the Jazz or Clippers game next month

likely he will. smh

well at least we already mark that clippers game a lost anyway.

We have to really try to win the Clippers game and and even up the season series. That way, if we finish with the same record as them, we could still finish ahead of them if we have a better conference record.

If AD has to miss one of those games, let him miss the Jazz game. The Jazz are flindering and maybe we can beat them without him.

We already lost the that tiebreaker. Let the clippers get the 5th seed is the best outcome for us

The only positive for that clipper and jazz back to back is you possibly could use one for the return of Lebron as a tune up game. Bron has not played a game with the team without AD. So using a game to let him run with them could help him tune up.

The rockers game tomorrow is basically the one game where I would say Christie and Lonnie both can get in time to play and run a 10 man rotation. The team is so small in Houston without Sengun that Darvin can use 4 guards and Rui or Gabriel as the bench lineup and it work.

We should've gotten another backup big the minute Bamba went down.
I also think it's weird as hell that no one is saying anything about his timetable,

On March 9th, the Lakers said Bamba would be reevaluated in four weeks. It's unlikely the Lakers will issue any further comments about timetables before the reevaluation takes place in early April.

Oh damn you're right, my bad. Still, we may be in a situation where we could finish ahead of the Clippers if we win that game, in which case we would want to actually try to win that game and have AD play.

Gabriel and Jarred will probably start, and then Rui will sub in for one of them.

The three of them will play the bulk of the minutes at the 4 and 5 spots. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brown get some run at the 4 spot in some really small-ball lineups.

A lineup like Gabriel, Brown, Russell, Reaves, and Beasley wouldn't work against a lot of teams, but it would be OK for 5 or 8 minutes against the Rockets because they don't have much size and they suck on both sides of the ball.

If they don’t have seugen, then I would start Rui. Rockets are not that big.

No harm in a 10 day deal. Just get a bigger body out there. Love Wenyen, but dude in a wet parka weighs under 200 pounds.

From r/Lakers available big man free agents:

Quote:
Hassan Whiteside

Serge Ibaka

Tristan Thompson

Dwight Howard

Demarcus Cousins

Moses Brown

Vernon Carey

I would take Whiteside for a 10-day. Guy can still body up and block shots. Avg 8p/8r off the bench last season for Portland. Give him 8-10 mins off the bench.

We could no more steal Huff than we could steal any player who is under contract to another team. The Wizards would need to cut him. Then we could sign him, though he would not be eligibility for the playoffs.

OP was right on this one, embarrassing and pathetic to equip this team with no center options when Bamba was out

What a joke

The only reason they lost was that first quarter not because of a big. Rui doesn’t start the first quarter and they win it. Gabriel did his job.

I think it went just a bittttt deeper then that. Gabriel was getting worked as well. They just flat out dominated us inside regardless of if Gabriel was on the floor or not.
