| These fans need to do a quick google search on Austin and look up his advanced and traditional stats to know Reaves is no scrub. They should be more mad if a guy like Lonnie killed them |

If I can help translate, I believe that they are preemptively defensive about the Lakers getting their #1 overall pick like we’ve done the last few times they’ve had one.

Reaves is just a “white boy” to the eyes of the majority of fans. Same thing happened with Caruso, only Reaves legit looks like an all star.

I remember in 1999, we wanted Penny Hardaway and Penny Hardaway wanted us too as his first choice for the sign and trade involving Glen Rice. One of the few things Jerry West and Phil Jackson aligned on as West loved Hardaway's talent to pair with Kobe in the backcourt and Phil loved Hardaway's fit within the triangle as a big guard and strong defense. How cool would it have been to take all 3 of their biggest icons. |

A completely different level then Eddie. Penny was a legitimate all time great level talent and looked to be heading that direction before he injured his ACL 3-4 years into the league. He was pretty much plagued with injuries for the rest of his career and never came close to looking the same again which is why you hear a lot of "what if's" regarding him.
He's right in that group with Brandon Roy, Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill etc. of all time level talented players having there Careers prematurely ruined due to awful injury luck. |

Ya you can tell these Lakers games mean so much more to these scrubs team we play. The energy and focus they bring against us versus every other team is a night and day difference |
