We would be the favorite to win this year had we traded for Buddy

I know that you are bring this post alive by pointing out I made a bad judgement.

Though I made this post mainly because how pissed I was that we traded for Westbrick, and we couldnt even get rid of him as a negative asset.

Everything I said in the original post was pretty much spot on.

And had we traded for Buddy Hield, we wouldn't have given up so much asset.
And Buddy Hield could have been traded for other assets as well, since he has value, he is a rich man version of Beasley, and he would have looked like a all star next to Lebron. (Lebron can make role player into like bonafide all star)

Only thing I didnt factor in was Buddy poor defense at the time.

But still it would have been like way way better situation, and I doubt we would have to fire Vogel and get Meathead now.

I would much prefer the team we have now (when healthy) over the team we would've had if we had traded for Buddy instead of Russ.

I don't know if we could've traded Buddy for DLO and Vando.

Of course

But we suffered through 1.5 season of nightmare to get to where we are now.

Pelinka pull off a miracle this year at trade deadline.

If Buddy didn’t work out last year, we could have traded him for asset last off season
