Anticipating that Suns-Flippers series, I hope KD and Brick do some back and forth chirping.
I also hope Bulls don't make the playoffs with Bev's confident playoff streak ending. apparently he's been to the playoffs all his career? |

I see the play-ins, playoffs as a continuation from the regular season, so I would assume it fits the bill. Speaking from previous experience, I am not sure if the mods will allow parallel OT discussion threads without moving it to the general NBA discussion section of the site. Besides, most people are familiar with that thread and there are conversations, quote tweets already taking place. |

I'm looking forward to the Cavs-Knicks series back East. It will be great to see the Garden rocking — I hope the Knicks win that series, the good people of the Tri-state area deserve it. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

It’s going to be wide open. No clear cut favorite imo. |

Suns are the favorites in the west and bucks in the east IMO. They look like the 2 best teams |

I’m not convinced but we will find out.
Suns - depth will be tested.
Bucks - Middleton and Jrue can sometimes look old, but they probably have the best roster at peak level. |

Bucks definitely the best overall team. Without any one of their 3 stars they're very good record wise. |

Merge thread would be great.
1-7 in the west look like contenders to me.
1-4 in the east.
Legitmately 11 teams that can win it, but I suspect that number will change once we get a couple of games in.
For the record...can't stand the play-in. If 82 ain't enough to get seeding then what number would be? _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

Disagree…please don’t lock this one. Why would you ask the mods to lock another OP’s thread? Regular season thread was cool! Thank you for that!
Playin and playoffs deserve a new one tho.
Pels have been hot as of last 10 beating the Nuggets in Denver, Grizzles, Clips twice including one in LA, Blazers in Portland when they were still trying to get
in, and the Knicks…Thanks 7 upsets in 10 games. Their 3 loss were to GSW in SanFran, the Kings and then the one today to the Wolves. It seems like a tougher match up on paper with the Wolves but perhaps it may be better than the Pels. Anyway, hope the Pels get another shot at them this year lol!
Glad the Suns and Clips get to duke it out and that the Lakers are on the opposite side of the bracket. Lakers may have to face Wiggins tho in 2ndRd. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Play Tuesday and then play Sunday
The alternative is play Tuesday, play Thursday, and play Sunday
It’s usually 2-3 days depending on scheduling in round 1. You got to think they will want to get the LA, NY, and Chicago markets out there if they can along with the Warriors

Quote: | The Minnesota Timberwolves spiraled into a state of chaos on Sunday, as they lost breakout forward Jaden McDaniels for the season with a fractured right hand after he punched a wall in frustration and face the possibility that center Rudy Gobert could be leveled with a team suspension for Tuesday's Western Conference play-in game against the Los Angeles Lakers for striking teammate Kyle Anderson in a huddle, sources told ESPN on Sunday night.
The Timberwolves defeated the New Orleans Pelicans to secure the eighth seed in the West, but team officials are weighing whether to keep Gobert off the trip to Los Angeles on Monday, sources said. |

Just happy to see a Post-Season thread at all. Something I thought would be impossible pre-trade, and even after the trade. Impossible until I saw how DLO/Vandy fit in with this group and how Reaves exploded when they hit the scene.
Now let's see if we can resume that better flow with Bron on the floor. |
