Jokes aside, I have never really paid attention to Cam. I hope he does great. Don't have any expectations for him though.

A glimpse of what he can be in a good team on a big stage. This was an underrated series for him that nobody talks about. ECF and he was playing great on both ends

I remember this series and thought he was going to take off from there. But he’s been highly inconsistent as a player. Also playing for the Hawks and Knicks might have derailed his growth a little bit. Not sure what happen with the Knicks but seems like Thibs didn’t like something about him. He also benched DRose.

For the minimum his the type of kid you gamble on. Hoping he be a contributor some where around TBJ/Walker or with Monk’s ceiling. Worst case will be Kent Bazemore.

One thing I noticed about Cam's stats is that his FGAs remained consistently low for stretches, and then he would have a couple games where he got 'em up. In the ten games last year where Reddish shot 10+ shots, he averaged 18.7 pts on 13.6 fgas.

I'm hoping they play him at SG and offensively ask him to fill a very focused/narrow role to start so he can build success one area at a time. Then on defense, just drill him on the team schemes. Jent worked with him in Atlanta so hopefully the familiarity will carry over.

idk, but this kid is very inconsistent. Let's hope our coaching staff can help
him find himself out there. But he is far from an everyday contributor
historically speaking.

We had a highly rated small forward from Duke who didn't really break out until his fourth year.

Maybe Cam is just one year late.

Yeah, that’s why I’m hoping they go one thing at a time. The Lakers did that with Ingram and he added things to his game piece by piece. Cam is at the beginning of that journey. He needs to try to be BI 2017, not BI 2022.

Let’s hope he’s now finally realizing that he has all the tools in the world to become a really good player in the NBA

I’ve seen Knicks fans compare him to a younger Paul George. Why is this guy so overrated?
