Just binged The Bear, what a great show with great characters and acting.

Also finished season 2 on This Fool on Hulu. Anyone else watch this show?

As a Mexican American growing up in La, this show is great.

I’m watching it. The first episode was maybe the worst. I accidentally watched episode 2 first. I think it almost plays better that way. Keep with it.

I felt the same. Wasn't going to at first because I thought Season 2 was lame, but then I binged Season 3 and it was decent.

Unfortunately, the final season is trash like S2. The villains are the worst of the entire series and overall it was just boring.

Also brought on Michael Pena who I tend to like in every role he plays, but they wrote him a character that is completely devoid of any personality.

Season 1 was the only truly good season IMO.

Holy jumping Jesus, it's soooo bad. I have another 20 minutes to go in the final episode and I might not even finish that.

The story is so convoluted and uninteresting, the villains are so bad (it's as if that actress is intentionally doing a bad job at acting). Terrible.

You're right, what a waste of Michael Pena.

Yeah, it was disappointing. But I had already been disappointed by season 2 so it wasn't surprising.

And I feel like I am not that hard to please when it comes to this genre (action/spy thriller). I just want good characters and fun storylines. But this was too stupid even for me.

The finale of Hijack was not good either. Show had potential, but was ultimately a let down. I feel like you can only get so far with the mystery of who are the hijackers? Why are they doing this? etc., but if there is no character arc, the entire thing feels empty.

I've been watching In The Heat Of The Night with Carroll O'Conner, Howard Rollins, Alan Autry (Gene Autry's son) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin, Young and the Restless) I can see why that series ran for 7 seasons. NBC from March 6, 1988, until May 19, 1992, then on CBS from October 28, 1992, until May 16, 1995. The plots ran the gauntlet. Comedy to drama and all in between. Carroll O'Conner is/was an icon.

Just finished the first season of Rabbit Hole on Paramount+

Kiefer Sutherland is the lead and the show is very much like 24, with all kinds of conspiracies. The plot is ridiculous, but the show is highly entertaining. Good performances from the cast.

No word on a second season, but I hope it comes back.

Thank you for recommending This Fool. I’m 5 episodes in and really into it. I had tears in my eyes when the Luis mimics Austin Powers.

I'm sure it was mentioned here before but I just binged all 5 seasons of Yellowstone. I think its the best series I've seen in my life. I rank GOT right below this. Kevin Costner is brilliant. Now I have to wait til November for the final 2 episodes.

Glad you enjoyed all 5. The first 3 were awesome to me. 4 to me was tough to watch..and 5 I could only get through one episode before calling it quits.

A little late to the party, but I've been watching The Witcher during the past couple of weeks. Just finished today. One of the most absurdly bad series I've seen in my life. The 2nd season gave me a glimmer of hope, but then the wheels just completely fell off in season 3. Want those 24 hours of my life back and will definitely not continue watching whenever the new season drops.

I agree with you. The first 3 was really good. 4 and 5 wasn't as good but good enough for me to finish it.

I think when you binge something it all blends together and you can get through it. When you watch week to week and have to wait a year for the next season things change.

Yep. I envy you Jodeke. Enjoy the binge.

I'm a huge Timothy Olyphant fan. I had to wait for new episodes week by week back in the day. Like I had to with Suits.

I highly recommend the show.

First season starts off with stand alone episodes, typical for police procedurals.
But it turns into something so much better than that.
Fantastic writing, specifically the dialogue. The 8.6/10 IMDB rating is .... justified.

Anyone watching Ahsoka?

I really like this series so far. It's not up to par with The Mandalorian but it is a lot better than Obi-Wan Kenobi.

So far it's decent. I'll withhold judgment for a few more episodes.

Luis is great. I feel like I grew up with a lot of guys just like him which makes it even funnier. I got to meet the main character, Chris Estrada at an event recently, super cool guy.
