After last year is was clear we lacked championship pitching and this year we simply do NOT have a rotation to speak of other than a 4 inning slow ball Kershaw and rookies; however, our BP is ready for the post season.
we’re going to need a lot of random luck, excellent rookie post season pitching and a bunch of runs. |

Yeah we will need luck.
Looking back at the last 5 champs, did they have dominating pithcers during the regular season?
I think when we won in 2020 it was because of the shorten season. It was perfect for Kershaw. |

Maybe I am reading too much in to the Ohtani situation but doesn't it bother anyone that he cleared out his locker almost a month before the season ended and is spotted in Japan? I know he doesn't want to be here but at least for his teammate's sake he should stick around til the end of the season. Kinda shows me his character. Maybe the dude is not a team player. |

I think he is just saying sayonara to the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim and greater Orange County. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Or he's tired of killing his body for a franchise that doesn't care about winning. It was a one-sided transaction with the Angels. Angels took and rarely gave anything in return. No wonder he's a goner. |

Both of you guys make a good point. He did play his heart out for the team only to get over worked and injured. I just thought he would at least show some loyalty to the teammates. Like I said I'm probably reading too much in to it. |

Look how much Ohtani made in his 6 years with the Angels. I bet you they sold way more in merchandise and tickets than the 42 million he made with the ball club. Its a shame he probably finally realized the Angels weren't going anywhere after he wasted 6 prime years of his career. |

Atlanta's about to lose again. They'll be 96-54.
We're 91-57.
Stranger things have happened. |

Just looked up the box score. All the good players played so it's not like they are taking it easy.
We just might be able to catch them. |

Ebel with another f'ing stop sign and Rojas said F you and ran through it and scored without a play. Ebel is the absolute worst ever. |

JD with a towering shot. 3 run HR. 2nd HR. So far 2 for 2 with 2 homeruns.
JD reminds me of Edgar Martinez from the 95 Mariners.
5-0 Dodgers 3rd inning. |

Lynn is looking pretty good the last 2 games. He could be the post season 4th starter in the rotation.
Miller
Pepiot
Kershaw / sheehan
Lynn / Sheehan (If Kershaw goes 6+ innings) |

Rojas is very good at pulling the hands in and getting to high inside pitches. |

I knew it. It was only a matter of time.
Lynn gives up 3 run shot. 5-3 Dodgers. |

Lynn is completely finished
Okay I’m starting to think Lynn can open and go 3-4IP in playoffs. Seems to tail off after the third and maybe this can work.
Kersh/Sheehan combo
Lynn/Yarb combo

All started with 2 outs and nobody on, has Cabrera 0-2, and throws a hittable fastball right on the outside corner. Just doing the hitter a favor. As the Dodgers are so wont to do. |

Ferguson gets Cabrera 0-2 in the 7th inning, and...he gets him to chase one in the dirt for strike 3. Hallelujah! |

Rojas with an absolutely screaming no-doubter to left for a homer! He really likes that ball in. |
