The Rams are trying to trade Cam Akers. I wonder if Cleveland would be interested.

Tonight was probably the easiest money of the season, under 37.5 on the Saints game. My daughter is in Vegas so I asked her to place a vet for me. She texted a photo of the ticket and it was for the over. I checked my text to her and I had screwed up and told her to bet the over. What a mistake.

Wise choice. I saw it inadvertently and wish I hadn’t.

So many injuries, every few plays it seems.

We are witnessing a bunch of young men getting their brains and limbs crushed for our amusement. I keep asking myself every year why I'm watching it.

I made the critical mistake of drafting Najee Harris and Dameon Pierce in 3 of my 4 fantasy leagues. They are AWFUL this year. Wasted picks essentially.

I still think there's hope for Pierce. Their OL has been beaten up early, but they should get LT Laremy Tunsil back and that should help a lot. Also, Stroud looks pretty capable so far and if he can move the offense, Pierce will eventually have better opportunities. The talent is there.

Meanwhile, Najee looks like he's running in quicksand compared to Jaylen Warren. It looks an awful lot like Najee is the Zeke Elliott and Warren is the Tony Pollard. It looks like close to a timeshare to me, and I don't see how Harris regains his prior role. If anything, Warren could/should usurp him.

I have Pierce also. He is getting touches but no yards. It sucks on so many levels!

OK, Stu was right again (I think) on this Bengals-Rams game.

The more I delve into it, it appears Burrow is more seriously hobbled than anyone thought and the rest of the Bengals are underperforming at a pretty drastic level.

Rams have a real shot in this one I believe now, but I am staying off it and am instead making my mandatory Monday pick in my Pick 6 Big Money Pool on Philly -5.5 at Tampa which feels sketchy also, but not as sketchy as wagering on a Bengals team where Burrow might not even play or continue to be ineffective.

The Bengals had gotten back up to -3 earlier today but right now I see it at -2.5. I think it's a good call on your part to stay away from the game, because even with Burrow hobbled and even with the Rams looking pretty good so far, it's not like it would be a shock if the Bengals won the game by a field goal. As for the Eagles, I do think it could be a good opportunity to lay the points there. I know their pass offense hasn't gotten into gear yet, but with 11 days between games, and with AJ Brown complaining last week about not getting the ball enough over the first 2 weeks, I think he goes off, and I think Philly's pass rush could overwhelm Baker Mayfield. I know Mayfield has been very good through 2 games, but that was against the non-existent defenses of Minnesota and Chicago. Massive step up in class here, and this feels like a get-right spot for the Philly pass offense to me.

Dolphins 35 Broncos 13. Is Wilson done or are the OL and receivers putrid?

Broncos have given up 70 points, with 8 minutes to go.

Unbelievable.

I can't blame all of Denver's ineptness on Wilson.

Anyone catch Brandon Staley's decision making in the clutch today?

Layne Staley could make better decisions and he is dead.

Lamar got the bag. It's strange when a player gets the bag their game seemes to diminish. Jackson's 3 turnovers cost the Ravens the game.

Dolphins took a knee instead of going for a FG. Should have gone for it. All time record was 73. They probably could have scored 90.

Aww poor Sean Payton. Couldn't have happened to a more overrated, scumbag of a coach.

I would imagine there are a lot of fans of both the Colorado Buffalos and Denver Broncos. That was not a good weekend for them.

They should have gone for 77. That would be awesome.

Chicago looks atrocious, Chiefs could probably put up 70 on them like Miami did to Donkeys if they wanted to.
