I hope not. They will be a scary team with Harden, PG and Kawaii...they can beat Denver.
I doubt he moves the needle that much. A lot will depend on how much depth they have to give up. If I was Philly I would demand Mann and Powell at least.
Clips and 76ers are still negotiating
Imagine the ever-ongoing saga/soap opera of a lineup with Harden, Westbrook, PG13 and Kwahi that would be a big office draw when Balmer opens his new arena.
Harden pounding the ball, Westbrook throwing wild passes, PG13 trying his best to compensate for the absenses of the other stars and Kwahi giving encouragement from the sidelines.
At least all the stars will be there at the arena's Opening Night, spectacle like the Bosh/DWade/LBJ opening night in Miami promising countless rings - lol!!!
Harden and Brick definitely cannot co-exist. They couldn't co-exist in their primes so they wouldn't start now. I hope the Clits give up a decent junk for Harden. _________________ Lakers used to average one championship every four years but I'd gladly take one every ten years now.
Damn it! That would have been an epic implosion once they start finger pointing
Perhaps it's true, but maybe it could also be a ploy by the Clips to get the 76ers to drop their asking price. If the relationship is truly irreparable, the 76ers should trade Harden before they lose him for nothing at the end of the season. It's more likely Harden starts the season with the 76ers, but will be traded once more players become trade-eligible in December.
I feel like Harden will eventually end up with the Clips - whether by trade or free agency. He wants to go there. There won't be many teams interested in a now 34 year-old, out of shape malcontent. Especially if it will cost them assets to obtain him.

Sixers gave up picks, Simmons & quality depth to get him. Clippers are a supertax team and have added restrictions trying to get his salary on to the roster. If Philly says "no" to Markieff Morris and/or RoCo, Clippers have no way to get Harden w/o a 3rd team. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
Morey’s track record in the last several years isn’t good.
- Gave CP3 a crazy max contract on a wink-wink deal
- Traded CP3 and a serious haul of draft picks to acquire Westbrook
- Cost the NBA and players millions by infuriating China
- Torched Houston on his way out the door; signed with Philly in one week
- Traded Simmons and a haul of draft picks to acquire Harden
- Has apparently reached a point of no return with Harden that could impact Philly’s relationship with Embiid.
For someone who has never produced a winning team, he sure does have a lot of street cred.

I have to politely request that you stop disrespecting clits by associating something so incredible with something so tragic as the clipper franchise.

Yeah, Philly doesn't have to take what the Clips are offering. They gave up a lot to get Harden and they can also end up losing him for nothing at the end of the season. It's a game of chicken on both sides. Expect Harden to begin the season on the Sixers roster and get traded after December. But if Morey lets Harden walk without getting something in return, he may as well start looking for another job. Philly fans would riot.
There are probably only a few suitors at this point willing to deal with Harden and his baggage. The Clips seem like a strong "match" for him. Playoff team looking to bolster their roster with a crazy and desperate owner who always wants to make a splash. If Harden isn't traded to the Clips this season, I still think him taking a pay cut to sign with them would still be a very strong possibility. Who else would want him at this point?

I may be proven dead wrong about this, but I suspect that the Clippers just went through the motions of appearing to be interested in Harden. I don't think that it's genuine.
I think that a number of lesser teams would be interested in Harden because he'd sell tickets and give them a shot at making the playoffs. The problem is that Harden doesn't want to be a ticket seller in a small market. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved

Yea well, Clippers don't get a lot of love so maybe Clits would get them some. _________________ Lakers used to average one championship every four years but I'd gladly take one every ten years now.
Imagine Opening Night at Balmer's new Arena with Kwahi, PG13, Westbrook and Harden as the Stars of that Night.
Noting Balmer's agenda to have countless bathrooms, everybody should be in the seats to YELL at the top of their lungs because that will be the only night these four players will be doing anything together
76ers and Clippers are just postering to get the media off their backs
Wouldn't it be funny if Dame went to the Clippers and Harden went to the Heat - lol!

That’d be a shame. Dude was BORN to be a Clipper!
Exactly. Sad say for Laker fans if he didn't become a Clipper. He and Brick would make the perfect dysfunctional couple. _________________ Lakers used to average one championship every four years but I'd gladly take one every ten years now.

They already were on the Rockets. Imagine all of these giant egos clashing. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Would Balmer's Opening Night of his venue be newsworthy with just Kwahi, PG13 and Westbrook as the stars of the night - don't think so
Since Balmer wants the biggest Opening Night Ever of his Arena to try to at least be covered in LakerLand - imagine if Harden ($45+M per year), Kwahi ($45+M per year), PG13 ($45+M per year) and Westbrook (Minimum NBA salary) are the stars of the night. Imagine the media coverage and NBA pundits talking about how TLue will make this roster works - it would be Lob City Insanity Again with Balmer getting the attention of the world (at least for that night). Imagine a cable tv program watching every step TLue makes, along with these four players appearing on all the talk shows.
Since only Harden and Westbrook will play 60+ games together on the court, watching these two players trying to mesh their game would be fascinating
Witnesing these four players always demanding the ball in ISOs will remind everybody of USA's FIBA team.
They will probably be the NBA's version of MLB's San Diego Padres!
Meanwhile the Lakers will at least go to the WCF and hopefully to The Finals.

The LA media will be all over the opening of the Intuit Dome as is, it’s LA news. Just as they rightfully were when SoFi opened, it was news. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

It will be news and will be covered because it is Balmer’s “latest and greatest” (so far) toy.
I’m sure that Balmer wants to get the buzz that happened when LBJ, DWade and Bosh made a big splash. Kwahi, PG13 and Russ definitely don’t have even close to the star power/celebrity status and talent that was in Miami. Getting Harden, with all the baggage that he brings, will have the media doing a daily show on how/whether this team can be successful with countless subplots.
Just like Lob City, lots of media attention (starting with the Opening Night - great for Balmer) but success on the court would few and far in between
Kwahi (from the bench because he is injured - again) and PG14 will be watching from the 3pt line while either Harden pounds the ball for 23 seconds or Russ shooting bricks.
