Wood has a good chance at 6MOY if he stays in his current role.

Probably needs to get more scoring opportunities

But there’s no question his impact has been huge thus far

With 4 treys last game, Wood has been solid so far. I'd like to see him have a good game tonight vs another one of his former teams, the H-Town Rockets,

I'm not high on Wood like everyone else. The fact that he has had to start and play big minutes at times shows how much of a struggle we are in right now. He is a low BBQIQ player. Great for spot minutes. Not great to be relied on every game. Watch him when he does not have the ball on both ends. You will see what I mean.

He looked lost without AD. I now see what Dallas fans mean

Basically means that we need AD to play as much as possible lol

“Ohhhh, so that’s why Wood had been on 8 teams in 8 years.” My thought after the Houston game lol! I was wondering what was wrong with the teams that let him go. Hopefully he finds a way…or the Lakers find a way to make him…to be consistently impactful.

That has been my question all season. We are not using his talents. Combination of lack of touches, so when he does get a touch, it's a force. Wish Ham would make more of an effort to use him. He has proven to be one of the best combo PnR and Pick and pop bigs in the NBA over the last 3-4 seasons.

Idk what happened last night. I stopped watching. But one shot for a guy of his talent is wild.

+8 which is the team high again, Wood is leading the team in +/- whatever he’s doing is impacting this team.

If Hayes was better, I would say start Wood and Cam with Ad, DLo and Bron.

What happened to his shot, he used to be a walking bucket but looks rather pedestrian so far this season.

What do you mean? He’s shooting 49%fg and 42% 3fg. He’s just not getting many touches on this team.

At this point there has to be discussion to release Wood, he doesn’t fit here and doesn’t try to compliment AD as much as the the Lakers seem to think, he’s just a empty stats guy playing on a team with AD and LeBron that’s it.

Wood has had his ups and downs. He seems pretty inconsistent. That having been said, he's second to Lebron in Net Rating currently. They have generally played well when he's been on the court.

Agree. Too soon to talk about releasing. It would be different if we had replacements and no valuable upside had been shown, but we don’t and it has.

Keep Wood, at least for now until more is seen/

If darvin wont reduce his playing time this might be the only solution. He is a good insurance policy for AD/Lebron/Vando/Rui but when everyone is healty he shouldnt see the floor unless it’s garbage time.

I have noticed he doesn’t play well against good teams but he can easily beat up on bad teams.

Who plays C when AD is out? Bron? Rui! Vande? Replace Wood or keep him, dumping isn’t appropriate imo.

Inconsistent but he's the best backup center we've had since Dwight/McGee. Wish we gave him a chance at starting center with AD at the 4.
