The Clippers were so much more likeable during the Elton Brand/Lamar Odom/Corey Maggette era and the Baron Davis/Zach Randolph era. You never expected them to win anything, so it became fun to cheer for them as sort of an underdog and second LA team. Now it’s the opposite. |
I'm sorry, but that was not the case for the clippers, ever for me, and some others. Never liked them! |

Missed that Laker mess and got to watch the Clips at full strength lose to Denver without Murray, Joker and Gordon….at home.. guess it was a good day…😁

Letting DeAndre Jordan in 2023 be the best player on a team that was missing Jokic/Murray/Gordon and MPJ scoring 8 points…
DeAndre Jordan…2023
21 points
13 rebounds
5 assists
Clippers deserve to be banned from the league after that. _________________ Russell Westbrick: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Damn DAJ destroyed his former team. He looked like he should be out of the league when he was with us _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

I honestly have no idea how the Nuggets won today. They were missing every piece that makes their offense run, and the Clippers had The System playing for them. |

Jordan and Jackson played like it was 2015 or something. Incredible. Why can't the Lakers never get these sort of veterans (Eric Gordon also comes to mind) that you can pluck into the starting role and they deliver. |

Just when you think without Jokic, the Nuggets could become vulnerable. Might as well just hand the Nuggets the Larry O'Brien trophy at this point. So the Nuggets without their big three are still better than the Mavs? _________________ Offense gets the glory but DEFENSE (and rebounding) wins championships!! |

Laker arch-enemy Bill Simmons has a theory about that:
Quote: | The Clippers traded all their picks in the 2020s to create a play-in team that can’t defend point guards and big guys. |
With both teams fully healthy, who are the best they have to guard Jamaal Murray and Nikola Jokic? They couldn't even slow down the blistering offense of Reggie Jackson and DeAndre Jordan. |

Jackson for 35pts too! _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. I didn’t see that this off season.” |

Gordon and MPJ are both capable of being a 1-2
KCP as well as a 3rd option
Who here think Reaves is better than KCP? (Me) _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

We don’t have the system/cohesion necessary to make that work. 2020 we made it happen but we had an excellent coaching staff that year. This year we got Ham |

So much for the “Denver lost their depth” talk. If they can stay healthy they might be better this season. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

The only important piece that I'm awre of that Denver lost this last off-season was Bruce Brown. Christian Braun pretty much replaced his production this season. _________________ KOBE |

I was proud of them for doing that against Denver's B and C team. Kawhi, PG, Russ, and Harden really put in some overtime to lose by so little. Bless their hearts |

When they used to do that secret 3-point celebration and would never tell us what it meant. Darius Miles was a funny guy also. |
