Rest AD too if we're resting Lebron. Doesn't make sense to send only AD out there.

Did Ham not have confidence we could beat the Blazers without Lebron? If he didn't think we could beat the Blazers without Lebron, then what makes him think we could beat the Clippers without Lebron?

why not sit vs the blazers? Hes just doesnt come off as being overly competitive in his old years. No amount of rest now is going to make him rested for the playoffs.

Presumably his ankle didn't hurt. Maybe he hurt it again at some point during the Blazers game, maybe that's why he left the game and went straight to the locker room a little bit early. Who knows.

?

exactly. we are 2-0 against the clipps. Win one more and we have tie breaker. We are coming off a game where everyone was doing ice-in-the-veins all game. lets take that Mo against a guy in harden that everyone says sucks.

That's optimistic. You think the Lakers could climb up to meet the Clippers or the Clippers would falter and fall down to meet the Lakers in the standing?

We rise a little, they slide a little. I have to believe lue will start to aggressively rest KL at some point.

He is literally the one asking to sit. not me. I want him to play because he gives us our best chance to continue our long awaited dominance over the clippers.

I mean quite possibly. I can tell a lot of folks here are young. 98% of the time my hands are absolutely fine and I do my job and everything is groovy. 2% of the time because I've been doing what I've been doing for over 20 years, my thumb joints – particularly in my right hand – hurt so badly I can barely do basic tasks. It's just the way it is with repetitive use injuries and age. You can't keep saying that what LeBron is doing "for his age" is amazing yadda yadda yadda without acknowledging his age like that's the way it is.

He's not asking to sit. Teams have people that pre-plan rest days weeks in advance, especially with the NBA getting strict about resting policies. Last year we would sit stars on winnable games and lose them, and play them against games we weren't favored in like this Clippers game. They picked the right game to sit him. The only problem with this scenario is we lost the Nets game in embarrassing fashion.

If he'd sat the Nets or Portland game, you'd be (bleep) about that too.

LeBron dominated in both games against the Clippers this year. There’s no way he could be accused of hiding from them.

If we want any lick of chance of staying competitive against the Clippers or even win the game, AD needs to drop 40-45 on the Clippers, you know Clippers are likely pissed off about there loss against us a few weeks ago and will look to embarrass us on National TV

if he wants to play he plays. He literally builds this team. If we were 5-10 games over 500 maybe you can rationalize it. As I said. No matter how much rest he gets now it will not mean a thing in the postseason. So we might as well play to win.

Crazy how protected he is. Other players get gassed with no pushback. Plus with other players attacks get personal.

I feel a big game from Rui happening tonight. He’s got a chance to prove he deserves more minutes.

Not sure if it’ll be enough to upset the Clipps. We shall see.

It would be nice to see, for I don't feel it's coming. Not sure, other than nagging injuries, why he doesn't play more. As a bench guy, he is a good enough scorer, and as a matchup he can be a problem for some teams.

Darvin Ham says the Lakers are being “proactive” with LeBron James’ ankle. He’s day-to-day moving forward.

I didn't realize this was a forced TNT game. Please no Reggie.

Oh that guy. I don't like him either but he's not Reggie so I'll take it.
