Suns came within two games of winning the finals and then had the best record in the league the next season. Odd to blow it all up by trading Bridges for KD, Chris Paul for Beal, and Ayton for Nurkic and Grayson Allen. Completely different team other than Booker now.

Clippers plan to make the arena look not so empty because of lack of championship banners.

I'm over making fun of the Clippers. They are the best team in the NBA right now, and I doubt that changes anytime soon. I don't see any team out there that can stand in their way of winning it all. They seem focused and determined, they are healthy, they play good enough defense and they got an unstoppable offense. Better get used to the World Champion LA Clippers, like it or not, it's gonna happen.

Would it feel better to be a MUCH better-run team, but have nothing to show for it? Probably not, but man am I jealous of ownership/front offices on other teams.

The Clippers have ownership willing to spend, are well-run, and have done smart things along the way since putting PG and Kawhi together. But, they ultimately have not won a championship.

The Lakers have one of course, but this team has been so poorly run since that championship that all my enjoyment from this team is gone. It's arguable that the Lakers haven't even improved from that supporting cast(which absolutely needed improving BTW. I think their limitations were exposed in the 2021 playoffs). The Lakers also have a worse coach.

We'll see how the Clippers do this season. They have a lot of momentum behind them now. They have the roster and coaching to win it all.

It's scary relying on their big 3 to stay healthy though.

Wolves playing BIG was key to blowing out the Clippers.

That's the vision Tim Connelly and Chris Finch had with this Wolves roster: Go big and stay big. Force an opponent to adjust to you, not the other way around. The Clippers couldn't measure up. Impressive.

Didn't hurt that Lue decided to go small against them. He is Ham's spirit animal.

That's the way we beat them before the Harden trade. We went to a big lineup and it worked.

It's not a blueprint to beat them just yet, but it is effective.

Clippers are undersized and don't have any real PFs on the roster. Their offense also bogs down when just one of Harden or Kawhi goes to the bench. Add that to the coaching of Ty Lue and inconsistency of Paul George and I'm not worrying about them. It's a carbon copy of the lob city era.

Mentally soft and undersized Clippers.....I dont trust Minnesota typically in the playoffs but I trust them to beat the Clippers if they were to meet.

Ballmer has more wealth than all of the other NBA owners...combined. His quarterly income is likely double Jeanie's net worth. Let that sink in for a minute. He bought the forum to clear a pesky lawsuit delaying his building a new stadium down the street.

He will eventually spend his way to a title.

Ballmer has owned the Clippers for a decade. If it was as simple as buying a ring it would've happened by now.

Definitely prefer him over Jeanie. If we could keep our organization from Buss down and just replaced Buss with Ballmer, we would be perfect. Pelinka is definitely improving and is shrewd/sharp. Ham sandwich would have already been viewed as a sunk cost and replaced.

They have trouble with size. Looks like Harden ball is tracking to its inevitable playoff collapse

Ironic with Ham stating he now wants to try 3 guard lineups.

Denver provides the blueprint, their size and length played a big part in their title run last season. having multiple 6"9", 6'10" guys who can stretch the floor and guard multiple positions is priceless.

Because injuries happen. If Lebron or AD was injured in 2020, do you think we would have won that ring? Be grateful we were fortunate.

Even without winning a ring, the Clippers today are leaps and bounds above the joke of a team that was under Sterling.

Depth would help. So would an actual PG in their starting lineup.
