Hopefully we hear something about him any day. Last report was that he would be evaluated 6-8 weeks after his surgery. It will be 8 weeks this week.

With Dinwiddie on board I'm not sure if his coming back will solve more problems than it will create. The team has 5 guards that deserve minutes plus 2 wings who can get situational minutes at the 2:
Reaves, Dinwiddie, Russell, Christie, Vincent
Prince, Reddish
pushing out
JHS, Mays, Windler (Mays is actually not that bad)

I hear what your saying. However, if (a BIG IF), Gabe can get healthy, he would be our best perimeter defender (which is a need).

I am hearing all Cam, Max, Gabe, and Vando will be reevaluated after the all star break.

Cam and Max are expected to be available immediately so we could see them this Thursday against the Warriors.

Gabe is too see if he is all track to return..he is expected to return early March

Vando..if he returns, it is expected late March..they may have more answers in the next reevaluation because it is still possible he may need season ending surgery.

Cream always rises to the top. Proven players always show up when it matters. It’s the regular season players that you should be hoping that they can step up.

Generally you have to financially incentivize a player to move from the incumbent (plus, the tax reality is worse in California). So unlike the disaster with Deng, I think LA made an offer on par with what Miami made.

yeah he got hot in the playoffs, but he shot 33% from 3 last season. so rob paid him based on the hope that he'll get hot in the playoffs again? his d better be caruso level when he gets back.

Even if healthy I don’t expect much at all. He’s going to need at least 4-6 weeks to get some type of rhythm. Look how long it took Vando to really look like himself. Now having SD basically filling Gabe’s roll and with Max and Cam coming back I don’t see a scenario where Gabe plays.

Gabe Vincent was the worst signing last year...the worst, especially considering the money they gave him.

Lakers still need a big man to play C ... because some feeble type of resistance is better than absolutely no resistance throwing Hayes and Castleton at Jokic.
