Over Rambis, over Byron, over Luke.
He’s a dumbass. |
More than D'Antoni?
I mean the guy pretty much ended Kobe. |
Damn, the Lakers have had some really bad head coaching hires. D'Antoni is up there too in the Lakers coaching hall of shame. And now add Ham. |
I never hated MDA. My feeling was always that he was a good coach but the wrong hire for that Laker team. That was on ownership. We had a big team when MDA preferred small ball, and an aging superstar who won rings in a slow and methodical system. Phil was the obvious hire for that team but the Buss kids egos got in the way.
The Ham hire never made sense either. Fire the coach who got you a ring in favor of a guy with zero experience?
And the Vogel firing never made sense. If Lebron had his way in Miami they would've fired Spo. How would that have turned out for that franchise? Pat simply told Lebron "he's the coach, deal with it". Unlike Pat Riley, Jeannie has no back bone.
These struggles are not by accident. The leadership of this franchise is weak. Bad decisions after bad decisions. They need to sell, but we know that will never happen. This is the new normal. |

Don't worry. He's been saving a few tricks for this moment. |

Dlo looks like a player who either doesn't care or one who thinks he's going to be traded. This photo was taken when the team was in a strategy huddle during the last game against the Nuggets. I can't make out what he has in his hands. It looks like something to eat. He quickly went from hero to zero. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
