If Murray's calf is not 100% we need to get whoever he's guarding to run around and test his mobility |

On the real....this is what REALLY gives me hope. Because if Denver comes out focused and HEALTHY, it would hard for us to withstand their initial surge to have a reasonable chance for victory. But if Murray is compromised, they are losing their driving force engine and then become very beatable. But Im feeling really positive for Game 5. Its a much different feeling than 2008 Game 6 for example where before that game started, it just felt like an uphill battle. The 2 keys are of course MPJ and Gordon. You limit these two specifically and you live with what Austin does to Murray (hopefully gets him to shoot poorly again) and Nikola does whatever he wants to do. KCP is a team rhythm guy more than anything. Meaning if the team is off its rhythm, chances are he will be off too. He isnt the type of player who usually busts a team out of a slump - his rare exception for this was Game 1 last year vs the Lakers. |

We have played well in Den, come out strong and finish strong. Ham has to be on point with his timeouts and rotations |

He was suited up for Game 4 but Ham didn't use him. The Lakers usually have the size advantage but not against the Nugz. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Towards the end of Game 4 he was reaching for his leg and limping noticeably. |

what does Questionable mean?
Quote: |
Probable - Very likely to play.
Questionable - Player has a 50/50 chance to play.
Doubtful - Player is very unlikely to play.
Out - Player will not play.

Lakers better be ready for the Nuggets to come out the gates with a lot of energy. They have been behind in all 4 games after Q1. Malone is going to tell them they need to change the start of the game. _________________ Darvin Ham is an idiot! |

Hunt him on defense with Bron and make him work really hard. The way to have a chance to win is make Murray and Jokic work hard on the defensive side. |

what's going on? Calf strains are usually a 1 week recovery. If it's really strained and not just a muscle pull and Murray can't go for Game 5, near zero chances that he will be available for Game 6.
If he plays through an actual calf strain, he's risking a possible achilles tear. That's what happened to KD in the 2019 Finals. Giannis has a calf strain and has been out in this Bucks Pacers series because it's so risky to play on it. |

I saw Murray grabbing that calf, assumed it was cramping but if he strained it - that is a big deal. With them being up 2 games I think they sit him, you force it and he hurts that achilles....
You hate to see that but this is why defending title runs is so hard, the grind takes it wear and tear.
The 1 game turnaround also makes me think they play it safe, he will have a long time off before game 6. |
