69 winter. In the summer I keep my AC set at 65 degrees. I'm in the LADWP level pay program. I can run my air all day and my bill remains constant. I turn it off at night and sleep naturally. LA's weather's been weird lately. It hasn't been as hot as in past years. I used to turn the pilot light on my wall heater off during the summer. I don't anymore because to be safe the gas company has to relight it.

Night = 72 (compromise with the wife)

Summer, Morning until the expensive hours = 78
Summer, expensive evening hours = 81

Winter = 72. (Below that affects my typing speed when I'm working from home, the wife runs a room heater in her office.)

I live in the desert and during summer it's like 115 F and the wife does not like cold so we keep it at 82-83 farenheit. The kids aren't happy about it but they all gotten used to it after all these years.

Whatever the temperature is outside. We rarely use our heater and don’t have AC.

For cooling 77 during the day and 74 when we’re sleeping. For heating 70 during the day and 66 when we’re sleeping. But this is in Florida with ceiling fans in every room. 77 and 45% humidity feels fine with a fan moving air.
