Deontay Wilder got KDFO Big money fights are behind him. His net worth is reported to be $50 million. He has money, why keep fighting? I hope Wilder's done.

David Benavidez didn't bring the power to 175. He won handily

Gervonta Davis won by KO in the 8th round. It takes Tank a minute to warm up. Once he does it's usually lights out. 30 0 28 KOs . Only 2 have gone the distance with him. He literally walked Martin down and caught him with a 1 2 3 combo that would have taken the Starship Enterprise out. He showed why he's called Mini Mike. He'll take one to give one.

Love Tank but he had to fight Teo, Loma, Haney or Shakur next. He’s been to 140 so cut the shenanigans. Those five names have faced each other just two times: Loma vs. Haney and Teo.

I'd like to see him in with Loma. He broke Kambosos down with body shots. Kambosos was in pain. Tank is a take one to give one fighter. I don't know if he can take body shots like the ones Vasily put on George.

They kinda waited Loma out. Get him while he’s on the back end. Will be a great name on the resume. Anyone other than Loma or Shakur will be a travesty.

Tank doesn't strike me as the type of fighter who would duck and go for big paydays rather than fight the best of the best. I think he'd beat Shakur, Haney, and Teo because I think he could take their punches. Vasily throws punches in bunches and has thunder in both hands. He's a body puncher. Could Mini Mike take his body shots? I think he'd be the toughest match.

The A and B sample is a bit misleading. It's not like he's being tested a second time. They're both taken from the same urine. They test the A sample and if positive, test the B sample (which almost always will come back positive as well).

Boxing on ESPN. Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan is the main event. He's a fighter some think may beat Tank Davis

If he fights the way he did tonight no way he'll beat Tank.

Foster got jobbed. This was 1st degree robbery. I gave Conceicao 1 maybe 2 rounds. Reminded me of the De La Hoya vs Trinidad fight. Oscar had the fight won so he danced for the last 2 rounds. The judges gave the fight to Felix because he was the aggressor in the last 2 rounds.

Keyshawn Davis tattooed Miguel Madueno. Miguel took a licking and kept on ticking.

His racist tirade on twitter was tough to watch. I’m guessing he lost some fans.

At first I thought it's cut and dry, black and white. But then I heard The Odd Couple podcast and I'm not sure anymore.

Turns out, Imane Khelif is NOT a biological male. Khelif has the XY chromosome, with elevated levels of testosterone, but born a female with female genitalia.

Quote:
Gordon Monson: Stop the fight. Men are not boxing women at the Olympics

Politicians with an agenda are using misinformation in an unfair fight of their own, The Tribune columnist writes.

Quote:
The problem with all of that is: Khelif isn’t a biological male. An IOC spokesperson on Friday confirmed she’s not transgender. She’s a female. She was born female, raised female, identifies as female, all in a country that outlaws being a transgender person.

Quote:
Khelif never had male genitalia.

Quote:
Back to Khelif, the woman who is being torn to shreds for not being and looking female enough. She’s been a longtime boxer, who has been defeated multiple times in her career by other female fighters. She competed in the Tokyo Olympics and lost in the quaterfinals. The trouble for her started when the IBA, a boxing federation based in Russia that the IOC shut the door on as it pertained to any kind of control at the Olympics, allegedly on account of corruption, disallowed her from competing for a gold medal in a tournament it sanctioned in March, 2023. It claimed that Khelif failed a test of some sort, but it did not clarify what that test was or give details regarding her failure.

This caused speculation that Khelif’s testosterone levels were out of whack, and conjecture about her chromosome composition. Was it XY, like a portion of the world’s population is? Was it evidence of some sort of ambiguous gender characteristic? What was it? Nobody on the outside knows.

The IOC had no problem with Khelif, allowing her to box because she rightly qualified, the same as she had in Tokyo and in other previous competitions.

But when Carini ducked out in the fight with the Algerian, suddenly Khelif is a biological male putting wicked hands on, perpetrating violence upon a biological woman. And the cries of injustice come cascading in from those who have the aforementioned agenda to push.

Quote:
It’s notable that Carini on Friday said she wants to apologize to Khelif for her actions in the ring:

“All this controversy makes me sad,” she told an Italian newspaper. “I’m sorry for my opponent, too. If the IOC said she can fight, I respect that decision.”

According to the IBA, a boxing federation based in Russia.

But looks like they haven’t revealed why she was banned in the first place so sounds like it’s only rumors that she has XY chromosomes. Even the claims of elevated levels of testosterone is only speculation.

I'm on the trans train. A person should be allowed to trans if they want to. However, I have a problem in sports when a person born male competes with cisgender women, and strength is involved. I think that's unfair, especially in a sport like boxing. Khelif was assigned female at birth. What does that mean? Was she born intersex and assigned female? So much is unknown.

Imane Khelif: Is it accurate to label this female-born boxer as ‘biological male’ or ‘transgender’?
Kunal Kambli

Aug 02 2024 08:06 IST

Imane Khelif is not “biological male” or “transgender”. She was assigned female at birth, based on the observed external genitalia.

She appears to have a condition known as differences of sex development (DSD), previously termed as “intersex”.

Labelling individuals with DSD as a “biological male/female” can be misleading and problematic, as it oversimplifies their identity.

LINK

Quote:

The International Olympic Committee spokesperson Mark Adams said Friday that Khelif “was born female, was registered female, lived her life as a female, boxed as a female, has a female passport.”

Quote:

I put an end to the match because after the second blow,” Carini said, “I felt a strong pain in my nose.” That reaction has since spawned scrutiny of Khelif, who was assigned female at birth and identifies as a woman.21 hours ago

Israil Madrimov gave Bud more than he wanted. For a boxer with only 10 professional fights, he has skills. He does have over 400 amateur fights. He did not let Bud take over. Terence won but it was a lot harder than many thought it would be. Madrimov made Crawford go 12.

Andy Ruiz fought a good fight against Jarrell Miller after a 2-year layoff.

Martin Bakole was just too big and too strong for Jared Anderson. He took Anderson's best, walked him down, and knocked him out.

It was a good fight card.

Alvarez - Berlanga was a good fight. It went the distance. Egar stood his ground. He's a warrior. He stood toe to toe with Canelo.
