Top seed in the West and wins championship assuming we get BroLo and fully healthy team. I believe in JJ.

Dunno if I can rank OKC above us, if we'd faced them last season in the Playoffs we'd have undoubtedly beat them in 5.

That has little to do with standings. OKC won 57 games and added two great rotation players.

LBJ is a year older, rookie head coach, but some experienced staff behind him. Knecht was a good choice but still he's a rookie. On the flip side, I believe Ham's inconsistency with lineups and ignoring player strengths/weaknesses, treating the first two thirds of the season like training camp cost us a lot more wins than a tally of close games would indicate.

So many unknowns, this season could be anywhere from 35 to 55 wins from where we stand right now.

I'm going to be an optimist on this with JJ being the X's and O's guy people think he is, his coaching staff helping with all of the background heavy lifting that could otherwise sink a new HC, and a big assumption that this staff instills more discipline on team defense and rotations from the average overall defensive talent we have. Also proper player rotation management when injuries take someone down, actually playing role players to their strengths. That's a lot of optimistic assumptions.

Might not improve the record, we got lucky on injuries last year, but this time more resilient whenever AD goes down.

49-33

Going with an optimistic 53-29 because I'm a Laker fan and that's how I roll.

Lol. As windhorst so eloquently said when this was brought up.
“ I’m not giving anything to the lakers they didn’t earn”

Easy to say we beat team a, b or c. Reality is we were a playin they were #1 seed. We have DLo they don’t.

Now. Okc got better + experience and we didn’t

As of now, this looks like a 41-win team at best to me.

50-32

Two main reasons:

1) Massive upgrade in coaching

2) A healthy Vando. Do not forget that we were on an absolute tear when
Vando finally recovered from his early season rust coming off of his first injury. He is so important to the energy of our team.

It must be nice to have such support without ever doing anything. JJ could be a massive upgrade, a slight upgrade, or a downgrade. Any analysis at this point is based on hope.
