Navarro destroys Osaka. Not an Osaka fan, so all I can say is, yay!

I like Naomi. Why don't you? She brought attention to athletes' mental problems. Something many athletes have but seem to be ashamed to admit having them. I was pulling for her.

Was never a fan of her dour attitude on the court even when she was dominating. I could say more, but I will respectfully leave it there and just say that I'm not a fan.

If you guys are saying it's her personality I understand. I've seen some improvement in that aspect. Have you reasoned her mental state may be attributed to that attitude?

We're watching Coco grow into womanhood right before our eyes. Her body is filling out. She's gone from a 14 year old rail to a well developed young woman. Her confidence is also growing.

Tiafoe is giving Alcaraz all he want's and more. going to a fifth set.

Carlos won in 5 sets

#3 Alcaraz 5 6 4 7 6
#29 Tiafoe 7 2 6 6 2

Coco advanced with ease. Straight sets.

#2 Gauff 6 6
#51 Dolehide 1 2

Feels like she's going to win the bulk of her majors at the French, which worked out quite well for this other guy...

I only saw a couple of early games in the match, and the analyst who was working the match (I think maybe it was Rennae Stubbs?) said that she thinks that Iga will win 10 titles at Roland Garros by the time she's done. She has 4 already.

Emma frustrated Coco. Coco constantly looked to her coach for advice. She was lost.

E. Navarro 6 6

C. Gauff 4 3

Yep, I watched the whole match and she just out-steadied her and kept going to the Gauff forehand, which is her (much) weaker side, of course. Navarro is not overly aggressive but yet it seemed like she was the one dictating the points, and you're right, Gauff always seemed like she was the uncomfortable one in the match.

I haven’t been keeping up.

I was surprised to see Djokovic playing today. I thought for sure with his knee surgery that he’d be out until the US Open.

What a surprise to see him playing at Wimbledon.

YUP! Lost the first 2 sets then won 3 straight. Quite a comeback.

Sinner is a wrecking ball in this tournament so far. As always, I’m rooting for Alcaraz to take it. They would meet in the semifinal.

Gauff was a whiny brat in this one, publicly embarrassing her team by gesturing to her box and saying tell me something. Terrible attitude, she couldn't find solutions herself like she was required to do if she wanted to win. She's the one out there, she has to figure it out on the court. Team can't not make unforced errors for you.

Happy with the draws. The women have some relative unknowns but they can all really play, some with visually appealing styles on grass. Men's has equal number of interesting matches next and interesting stories that could develop.

This wasn't a real surprise. Medvedev's been playing well

#1 J. Sinner 7 4 6 6 3

#5 D. Medvedev 6 6 7 2 6

Carlos is going for back to back Wimbledon's

Alcaraz 5 6 6 6
Paul 7 4 2 2

Just like we predicted: two italians in the semi-finals, and none of them is Sinner lol

Total letdown for Fritz. Couldn't have asked for a better draw to try to make a Wimbledon semi. Forza Italia!

A player I'm pulling for 5'4" 117lb Jasmine Paolini is going to the Wimbledon finals. She bested 5'10" 141lb Donna Velic in a tie break. I pull for small people because I am one.

Paolini 2 6 7
Vekic 6 4 6

Looking like an Alcaraz vs Djokovic final

Alcaraz just won

Djokovic is a huge favorite in his semi match

Looks like you may be right. Joker won 1st set 6 4. Won 2nd set tie beak 7 4. Leads 2 sets 0. I'm sure he'd like another shot at Carlos because Alcaraz beat him last year. Musetti's getting frustrated.

Since Carlos's use of the drop shot is so effective more players are using it. Medvedev used it quite a bit along with net play. Daniil looks older than 28.

I would be too. I look up, he’s leading. I look away, look back, and Joker is leading. He must be frustrated.
