Miller sent down to OKC.
I Was just listening to the pregame show on the radio and David Vassegh was saying that since it's the all star weekend coming up, they should be able to get him back a week after the break. He was saying nothing really wrong with his mechanics, he just needs to look in the mirror and figure out what's going on between his ears. |

Another doodoo lineup today. I don’t know how we are going to win.
Pages/Miggy at 4-5 is yikes. |

Looked like Schwarber got under that one. The wind carried it out. |

Yeah i don’t buy that at all. I agree some of it is between the ears—he gets rattled easily. Unlike Stone who basically got knocked around all last year but just kept battling until he got it right. But the velo drop is real and it’s either health or mechanics. And frankly, if a guy with his stuff is basically incapable of striking out opposing players…how is it not mechanics related? Maybe we should be looking at his mechanics if he is going to be the starter version of Graterol |

Yeah I agree with you, Hopefully his time in OKC does him some good and is able to figure things out.. |

Not much options. I think Will is exhausted. I was hearing the humidity there was almost 60 yesterday. Smith's jersey was soaking wet. |

Would you guys say the Phillies are over-achieving or they are really that good? |

They are good. They’ve underperformed in the regular season the last couple of years but have been ready for the playoffs. They are built for the playoffs. We’re still way better though. |

Yeah they were. It was really fun watching them go to work on that double play and that one great grab by Taylor.
Then Pages kills all the momentum by losing the ball in the sky. LOL |

Is it me or has Ohtani been unclutch this year?

Looks like he’s putting too much pressure on himself to drive in the runs. I guess this is why it’s best that he leads off. |

I smell a huge beatdown tonight. Wouldn’t surprise me if we scored 8+ |

Skenes had a no-hitter going through 7 innings at Milwaukee today. Was at 99 pitches. They took him out. The 8th inning reliever promptly gave up a hit on the second pitch he threw. What a total letdown as a fan. |

Quote: | As the Dodgers contemplate pitching reinforcements -- internal or external -- Edgardo Henriquez is a name to remember.
Henriquez, 22, has earned two promotions already this season. He has struck out 59 batters in 33 innings.
Evaluators from selling teams are likely to watch him closely in the coming days. |

We need some major moves. Pages has been OK but we could use an upgrade in CF. We need another corner outfielder. Muncy has the slowest-healing oblique injury in history so we may need a third baseman. And we need at least one starting pitcher and possibly multiple starting pitchers. And although the bullpen has been very good and although we should get Graterol and Kelly back shortly after the All-Star break, I could still see us being in on some of the top bullpen arms because both Treinen and Hudson are older and have been injury-prone. |

bases loaded with 1 out and Shohei and Will Smith couldn't delivered. this team has never string together a few complete games this season. when top of the order were on fire, the last 1/3 batters sucked. now it's reversed. i can't recall Shohei has ever delivered a clutch base hit with runners on base, not necessarily a HR, but a simple base hit, i can't think of one. |
