So when we trading for both Trae and Kessler?

Ainge will want AD and picks for Kessler. He overinflated Lauri's worth and no team is taking the bait... yet.

Bulls - Vando, Gabe, DLo
Hawks - Zach Levine 1frp from lakers and one frp from bulls, and 1srp from the bulls
Lakers - Trae young

Trae/
Reaves
Kenecht
Lebron/
AD/

Then lakers trade

Rui, reddish, Hayes plus 1frp to blazers

Lakers - grant

Blazers - Hayes, reddish, rui, JHS 1frp

Trae/ Dinwiddie
Reaves/ Trent Jr
Grant/Kenecht
Lebron
AD/wood

Could give castleton a spot on the roster, bring back J huff, or sign Tyus jones and use Dinwiddie as a backup 3. Lots of minimum guys that can be serviceable, but I think you have a solid 7-8 man playoff rotation.

Plus this team can compete if Bron and AD miss time which they will.

Are any of you watching this Anthony Davis defense when he's not the sole defender on the team? The freedom he has? Monstrous.

DLO, Cam, and a 2nd works. See if you can send JHS and Wood to another team and try and get Trent jr

If you guys want defenders around AD, then Trae Young really, definitely ain't it.

Not really pushing for Trae Young but he can us help us stay afloat if LeBron eventually starts getting hurt and misses 7-8 weeks, you can’t say that for any 1 else who is on the market right now, the guy gets 30 points while sleep walking during games sometimes

Can’t post link while I’m on my phone but Arash Markazi said Lue and Billups were talking with Pelinka and JJ Redick after the Team USA beat Canada, maybe the Blazers GM was also there and they talked about Jerami Grant, Lue being there could maybe lead to some wild trade talks involving Kawhi Leonard lol

Not a real center tho.

Leonard is the Clippers franchise player.
He is owed $150 million dollars for 3 years.
He is NOT being traded, IG.

The perfect “big” next to AD and lebron would be someone like bam or Gordon, those big strong PF that can rotate inside and out.

It's a damn shame Lively didn't fall to us last year. AD is easily the DPOY with a rim-protecting center next to him, and if our defense is at that level, we're closer to top 4 in the West and an actual shot at winning the whole thing. Just pay the damn 1st for Brook or Kessler, Rob.

A player like Zach Collins would make sense as a back-up big that can play the 4 or the 5. I know the Spurs fans are down on him after it looked like he was starting to put things together his first 2 seasons with the Spurs, but last year didn't really fit with the Spurs and they seem to want to get off of Collins' 16 mill deal. With how barren the center market is now currently, a 3 for 1 type of trade like Vincent, Wood, & Reddish for Collins would make sense for the Lakers, but there might be too many guards on the Spurs roster. It seems like you don't need to give up too much for Collins and the hope is that he's healthy and would fit as the back-up big that could slide into the 4 or the 5. Would prefer wanting to use Russell's salary for the big upgrade and do the 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 trade on a player that is considered a depressed asset like a Zach Collins that fits a need for the team.

Meh. Vucevic has looked like he’s getting toasty, and he was never at all good on defense. Hard to see any move that makes him worth trading for. I’d prefer Rui over him.

people need to get over the big center obsession
Denver is not the biggest threat now that they lost 2.5 of the 6.5 actual rotation players they had on that title run

Lakers did a pretty good job guarding Murray in the most recent series and still only got one even though the Nuggets were a diminished team after losing Bruce Brown. So with KCP gone they get two now?

Wolves with Gobert to guard Jokic still needed seven games.

Would prefer Lavine tbh, would at least add a legit end to end athlete to the mix. Would also give us either a second leader or major expiring heading into the post-lebron age.

If we could turn Rui and Wood/Cam or JHS even into Vucevic, I'd be into that too. (No, I haven't looked at salaries for that, just saying it in principle)

Who’s on Pelinka’s radar?

Klutch clients, former Lakers, former draft lottery busts, or older/washed up big name players.

Pretty accurate.

We’ll see if there’s a big trade brewing, Knecth contract tradable in 3 weeks
