Hinson is 6’6 with a big body. If he could defend centers and play a small ball 5 I think he could work in the league similar to how Naz Reid plays. But don’t think he has the athleticism to do it, and he’s red meat vs any perimeter guy.
But that dude does have a clean stroke and he can get his shot off quick. |

With the headband, he reminds me of the old version of Melo a little. |

I'd love to have had an old Melo coming off the bench for us last season. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Great first game. But his shot has been iffy at best the last two. Cole Swider was money the whole SL. Plenty of time to show out still, though. Still like his size and he’s still moving well, shot has been MIA though. |

He looked like a 35 year old playing at the Y. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

I was looking to see how he adjusted to the way the defense has been covering him. He's extremely limited off the dribble, really can't do much of anything when he's forced to put it on the floor. Actually had some nice defensive moments but you can kinda see why he was undrafted. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Apparently he's never met a shot he didn't like. He almost broke the backboard with one of his bricks. |

I feel bad for Swider. Dude is a great shooter. And he worked his ass off on the floor whenever I saw him play, he just couldn’t keep up with NBA athletes. |

Some of these guys goes undrafted for some reason... I think just catch and shoot shooters are a dying breed in the NBA... You need to be able to do multiple things now. |

I like Hinson less the more I see him play. Hopefully he turns it around soon. But he hasn’t been hitting any of (bleep) shots and they’ve looked really bad when he’s gotten them. And he doesn’t do anything else on the court besides shoot from what I can see. |

Played well the rest of the way through Vegas. At his floor he's a big body that hustles and is a deadly flame thrower of a three point shooter. I'll take that. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

If he can get lean he could probably be a passable defender. Drop 10-15 lbs could make him just quick enough to stay infront of people. Add that to his shooting and he’s an nba player _________________ “like I never left”

Out of 8 Summer League games he played well in 2 and was largely a non factor in the rest. Even in his big game against Chicago he shot 36% from the field and 35% from 3 with 3 turnovers. And he'll likely never get 22 shots up in an NBA game. He excels at one dimension of the game and even that is inconsistent on a summer league level. Cole Swider showed much better shooting in his time in summer league and still ended up getting cut. I'll say that he showed more willingness to pass and some nice moments defensively while still bad overall. Don't really see him landing on a roster unless he makes a miraculous leap on other aspects of basketball. Shot 28/82 from the field and 21/64 from 3 for 34%/32% splits overall. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Agreed. Maybe after 6 years in Europe/Israel, he might become an end of the bench NBA guy. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

We had an old Melo in our bench, can’t see him frog leap Taurean or MaxC, maybe Cam, def not Rui _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

His role would be that of a Malik Beasley. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
