Way to end Summer League with a three-game win streak.
Good job SL Lakers!
EDIT - nice game Murray, hope you can make something happen somewhere & get a contract somewhere.
Kudos SL Lakers!
SL Lakers played loose, carefree basketball today.
I'd like to see most of those guys latch on in South Bay.
The ball flowed and they were exciting and entertaining
Overall a really Great team effort and win.
After a rough start they really caught fire and finished strong. GO LAKERS!!

I liked that they put murphy in. He made great passes to Olivari and Hinson and they caught fire to open up the lanes and the game. Murphy seemed better than Kuse just making the right pass and so no defections and low TOs maybe because he could see over the defender. They also seemed more comfrotable wihtout a bronny kenecht and NO MAXL..smh.
I wish they would continue Summer Leuge until Training camp began..why not? Got nothing else to do.
That was the Lakers best effort & performance of this Summer League. The team really got after it!
They played enthusiastic team ball all game and won going away.
I'm sure some of these guys will be invited to training camp and, of course, a few will end up in South Bay.

Seems the last game of SL might have been the most productive from a player evaluation standpoint, we finally got some players on the floor who deserve a closer look.
Lets hope Murphy can do this again. Moses Brown continues to show he's a better investment than Castleton as the 2 way slots go, and interesting to see Hinson heat up.
Mixed feelings about Knecht, did alright but training camp/preseason might be a better gauge. I expected him to light the SL arenas on fire game after game I guess. But the games weren't very organized.
Three year contract plus fourth team option Bronny had a couple good games. Call in the media, let's crank up some superficial hype. He's a 6'1" scoring guard trying to make it in the NBA, I have a hard time getting over that. To his credit he got over the hump and showed he belonged on a SL roster, at least for a couple games. Still, I'm not convinced he can have a solid game in the NBA without being scouted into irrelevance shortly thereafter. No matter how much effort he puts in or how hungry he is, unfortunately. And no matter who his daddy is. The genes give, but the genes take away.
I'd like a decent coach on the Lakers G League squad, someone intent on filling the gaps for players who are almost but not quite NBA-ready. That goes for reading the floor, understanding organized play sets, team defense, communication, not just throwing players out there and see who gets a shot off cleanly. Do we have the right coach for the job?

For many reasons, it appears that Bronny James has started on a path that recent other siblings (with similar hype, pressure and physical attributes) of past NBA stars had/have/are traveling - Scottie Pippen Jr.

Averaged almost 20ppg in games that were only 40 minutes long. I'd say he lit it up. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

That's fair. I believe preseason will be a better measure for him, particularly if he can play off some better teammates in an even slightly more organized offense. I'm looking forward to seeing how he fares.
