Obviously a stalled plane - perhaps it lost lift due to icing or maybe the props feathered mid flight |

Was there no way to get it level and glide somehow.. like into water or a field instead of just falling into a neighborhood? |

A flat spin like that is almost impossible to get out of. You’ve lost all forward momentum and are just dropping like a rock. _________________ HARRIS WALZ 2024 |

yup… you need airflow over those wings otherwise it’s a rock. If they were high enough maybe pointing the nose downward may have created enough lift but unfortunately they were just too low. |

It hurt watching that.. fkn eh.. I've been on a lot of flights.. I just refuse to think about anything going wrong
Watching it go down I imagined if I were in it would I race to an exit door and try something or just resign myself to the end.. Doors probably have too many G's on them when spinning
One flight from San Diego to Den .. stop in SLC .. massive storm and we had to circle for like 30 minutes and a few times the plane would just drop or get sort of shoved around by the wind or w/e and the family in my row were throwing up and thought it was the end.. I decided that day if the plane is going down it's Peanut butter jelly time dance time *I do not want to die yelling or screaming in fear if at all possible |
