The Lakers' schedule is very strange and unbalanced. I wonder if other teams' schedules are just as head-scratching.
There's probably more, but some of the odd things I noticed:
November
Play TOR both times in a 10 day period
December
Play SAC 3 times all within a 10 day period. 2 consecutive games in SAC on 12/19 and 12/21. We also play them in October, so we won't see them for the last 3.5 months of the RS.
January
Consecutive home games vs SAS on 1/11 and 1/13
Play CHA both times
Play WAS both times in a 9 day period
February
UTA B2B Home and Home matchup. These seem to be more common now.
March
Consecutive home games vs Clips on 2/28 and 3/2
Play MIL/DEN B2B twice - first visiting them, then face them back in LA the following week
Play CHI both times - within a 6 day period
April
Consecutive road games at OKC on 4/6 and 4/8 |

I see a possible 0-5 start.
The Lakers only won against the Suns last year because they were healthy and the Suns weren't. The Suns smashed the Lakers the 1 time they had all 3 of their stars.
The Lakers were winning close games against PHX while they were missing Beal. |

It would be likeā¦ really nice if can we make some sort of move to shore up our C spot, pretty sure your forecast would also change as well |

At least everybody including Vando will be healthy to start the season. Lakers are a force when he's in the lineup. He helps mitigate DLo's poor defense. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |

I was today years old when I learned that the in season tournament is now called the NBA Cup. But anyway it seems like that's a thing again this season. _________________ #Welp |

Tuesdays and Fridays in November are exclusively Emirates NBA Cup games. This was true last season (minus the new branding) for Tue/Fri but it was never clearly advertised. |
