I don't listen to any amateurs. Especially when it comes to the Rams. I value the insight of ex professional players like Andrew Whitworth. The Rams have been one of the most successful nfl franchises the past decade for a reason. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

The Rams defensive scheme isnt reliant on a dominant inside Linebacker. In fact, the league doesnt highly value the ILB position.
Word is, his lack of participation in camp due to his knee issues put him out of favor amongst other linebackers and he was expendable.
Health, performance and pending contract issues.

Detroit is in a better spot for this Week 1 game than they were before the preseason began. The Rams OL is severely banged up and now the pass defense is going to be stretched. The 3.5-point line will probably inch up before kickoff. It should, frankly. The game also has the highest point total of the entire Week 1 slate, so it should be a fun game with offensive fireworks.

Yeah, though I don't bet, especially with my teams, I would most certainly give the points and take Detroit.
