Thanks for asking the question about not having a true center on the roster again Eric and of course same ol BS was said.

And also thanks to whoever mentioned DLO. I don't know if I buy JJ saying he is the player he has talked to the most when he hasn't been mentioned once all summer by either JJ or Pelinka.

#5 is a valid question considering that Laker fans are coach killers

Keep in mind press conferences are often "let's tell OUR story the way we want to tell it" and not the complete truth

Press conferences at the beginning of the season is always the "Feel Good" time of the year.

Re: 5
Are we looking for a starting or backup 5

Outside of Embiid and Jokic, what legiimate starting centers are there - very few

Cs have Portzingux - not a traditional 5
Knicks got KAT - not a traditional 5
Heat have Bam - not a traditional 5

Do we need more heft at the 5, but at what price given how close we are to the second apron

What would be realistic acquisition(s)?

Maybe the Lakers need to have a much higher quality medical staff to address issues that always seem to be occurring

Great article, nothing makes me think this is anything more than about the 15th best NBA team.

I'll watch every game, as it could be LeBron's last.

Bronny is just a side show, I'm sure he will hurt more than help, but to appease
LeBron, they gotta keep him around, no way he should be taking minutes away from anyone else on the roster, except for "garbage time"...

I strongly disagree that Bronny being there with LeBron is gonna hurt us, just think about that extra motivation LeBron has knowing that a father-son are battling each other in practice all.. while LeBron finding that edge after that in real games, I think Bronny being here with this team is good for us

So Lebron is going to play for the Defenders?

Whenever Bronny is on the roster, it will get nationally coverage hence bringing far greater energy and attention on the games they play together. Seemingly this will be to Bronny's favor because the one strength that he has now is the DAWG in him when playing D - hopefully in the fashion in the past like DS that will create some defensive highlights and probably some offensive bloopers from Bronny - lol!

If Vando, Vincent and Christie display tangible growth in their game that they developed during the off-season (like any legitimate aspiring NBA star) and stay healthy, this "Team" could go deep into the playoffs. Other teams have more stars (Cs, 76ers, Knicks, etc.) but other teams have suffered talent losses (Nuggets, Clippers, etc.) while others are depending on continuity (Lakers, Suns, Kings, TWolves (their recent trade not withstanding), Grizzs, Mavs (does Klay move the needle to make the Mavs a top contender????), etc.

If J.J. can provide clear and precise defensive/offensive schemes with working rotations . . . . . .

When will CWood and Vando be healthy and can they stay on the court?
