Alright lemme go ahead and get into season form and fire this one up. Let's hope the positive vibes of the pre-season carry through the full year!
VANDO NEWS
Per McTen (video at link)
JJ Redick says Jarred Vanderbilt’s ramp up process remains “on target” for being available sometime around the beginning of the season. He later said he has designed a zone defensive package LAL will have in its arsenal that is specifically catered to Vando.

Per Woike
Redick also said Jared Vanderbilt is progressing and in a "ramp up" stage in his recovery from foot surgeries this offseason. He's not doing contact work yet, but "we're still trying to target the beginning of the season." Notes that he hasn't had any setbacks.

| Great optimism on Vanderbilt, especially with him being the focus of what his strength is... team and individual defense. More than any other Laker, I hope he has a breakout season for us (and one with good health!). |

Vando, Wood, Koloko, Traoré. It looks like the regular season will begin without several of these guys on the court.
As thin as our depth is right now, any one of these guys would be a big help.
We know Vando has an important role this season. Wood adds veteran depth too.
Traoré has potential but the biggest question mark is Koloko. Will he be cleared and what can he add to the mix?
That being said, I'm hoping for a speedy recovery for all the guys. Thanks TD! |
