He's still incredibly dominant from there. Like a mini jokic the way he surveys everything. It's like he's got an overhead view.

Dude is still more athletic than Magic in the 1990/1991 season and Magic was #2 in the MVP voting that year.

Give a lot of credit to the Lakers defense, maybe they're a bit better than I gave them credit for. There will be another test tomorrow, so we'll see.

But, I feel like the Suns' big 3 weren't aggressive enough coming out of the 2nd half. They were all having good games.

At one point, Tyus Jones had 11 straight points for them.

It’s so weird to see anyone not named AD or Bron rebound. They left those two on islands last year

True...It's only 2 games in but we're running plays. I haven't this team run anything for the past 3 years.

JJ adjusted pretty quick by stopped trapping them, good coach

So far very impressed, JJ is keeping it simple and just do the obvious. No more experimenting with the starting line up for like half the season, no more obsession with playing small ball with 3 guards.

You can argue JJ did what a coach should do and picked his poison. He was watching Tyus beat Dlo to spots and then sink in the team and carve them up with his skill of his passing.

The second half they let Tyus clearly beat Dlo and said f it don’t collapse or help Dlo and let Tyus score over letting him kick to shooters. And then JJ said you know what f it let me sit Dlo down and play bigger with Hayes and tougher with Gabe too while letting Reaves and Bron run the team

JJ coached

JJ also paid attention to who was contributing on the floor, and his substitutions were totally in synch with the action and momentum.

It's really early but I can't remember the last time we had a coach without "experimental" lineups -- it's kinda relieving
