Canary Black on Prime. As it was described:

Quote:
If there’s anything better than an action flick, it’s an action flick starring Kate Beckinsale

It is indeed an action flick no doubt. And it is hard not to like Kate Beckinsale. It is not particularly cerebral or with great character development as I often look for, but if one is looking for James Bond meet Mission Impossible with a Laura Craft like character but more like a super hero, you know, where a single gal can take on every bad guy in the world, well here ya go.

I enjoyed it. My adrenaline was up to 11, I suspect, as the action is relentless. A worthwhile Sunday escape for those liking the genre. It might be junk food, but who wants to eat sprouts and kale all day.

Going to check this out for sure. I enjoy me some junk food. Just watched BeeKeeper on a flight. Such an enjoyable experience even though it’s a pretty awful movie.

No spoilers, but make sure you are settled in and focused when you watch! Don’t have it on in the background.

Wow.

I think I stopped watching in season4. Maybe it was 5. But I just remember I had to stomach one awful season + the next season started hella rough and I gave up. I think it was 5. Is this show worth sticking with? Did it take a turn because it got extremely ridiculous where I left off. Considering how good the show was the first 3 seasons and how much I enjoy Taylor Sheridan, I thought the fall off was insane.

Wasn’t a fan of final season but otherwise solid. LL is easy watching. It’s also solid.

Well, there has only been one episode shown in the last season, not sure how many there will be, but I can't imagine there being much more than 4 or 5 more.

My guess is that it is gonna get ugly and bloody, with a bunch of MAJOR developments, so I'd say "yeah go ahead and record them, then you can FF, if you want".

I like it when shows KNOW it's the final season and the script is not afraid to kill-off key people (ala Breaking Bad & Dexter)...

I recently saw "Wolfs" on Apple. It's actually not a bad movie about a couple fixers, but Pitt and Clooney are clearly going through the motions. It would have been a better movie with actors who are actually trying to act, but that probably would have resulted in less interest.

I also saw "Heretic" with Hugh Grant. That movie is freaking terrific. It's a "scary" movie that makes you think about religion manipulates people, in this case the Mormon church. Highly recommended.

It’s got everything LL got but less trying to be cute characters and darker/deeper. Careful of one unnecessary phallic scene, came out of nowhere

Goliath lost me in the first season when they did some hyper unrealistic courtroom procedure...just beyond even the made for TV kind of stuff...and it took me right out of it. (Reformed attorney here...)

I'm into S1 E5 of Cross. It's a little slow but interesting. Detective Cross is on the trail of a serial killer. A PRIME series.

EDIT: I finished S1 Cross. This series has a real twist ending. I suggest you watch the whole series to the end. The finale will most likely surprise you. Season II on Prime has been confirmed.

Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) was one of my favorites in the series.

He was essential to the show and for the viewer but, egads, I'm glad he was not in my office, or even worse, to work under him.

I was debating this one. I can’t do slow so I may have to pass.

Landsman also dropped this weekend. A new Taylor Sheridan show, might be worth checking out.

it wasn't bad-I hoped for a little more action- Jump on a rowing machine and watch it. Its nicely shot and art-directed - season 2 assuming there will be one should be better now that they got all of the slow ish out of the way.

Don't pass Snipes. The finale is worth the wait. Prime has already started filming S2. That's an indication of how the public viewed the series. The reason I inked slow was because so much is involved. If you keep up with the subplots they will make the finale twist more surprising.

Thanks I will give it a shot.

On another note: Lioness season 2 has been awesome so far. I’m 3 episodes in. Keeps me engaged. It’s filled with plenty of cringe overacting and unnecessary scenes but I enjoy it.

Taylor Sheridan and his team are killing it. Tulsa King, Landman, Lioness and Yellowstone all had great episodes this week and last week.
