I don't enjoy watching NBA basketball much anymore. I think the product has become worse and worse.

With Boston taking 61 3pt attempts in the season opener. And the league being a copy cat league.

I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy the NBA less and less.

I get that 3pters and shots in the paint are the most efficient shots possible.
NBA teams are doing the right things by following that trend.

But the game feels boiled down to a 3pt contest at this point. It's boring to watch.

You should have been around in the nineties when they walked it up, threw it in the post, wrestled for 15 seconds and either shot a hook or passed out for a fifteen footer. 84-80 barn burners. Fratellos cavs trying to make 80 points seem ridiculously impossible.

My NBA viewership went into serious decline when it became clear my fears of Jeanie Buss’s ineptness became abundantly confirmed. I watch a little playoff basketball each year, but the NBA game is not ass interesting as it was for several reason from the style of play to the officiating.

I’ve been watching some WNBA and went to my first WNBA game this season. I just find that format more enjoyable to watch. And the shorter periods are a plus as well; as well as the vibe at a WNBA game. It’s a crowd of families and regular folk just out for a good time and no asshats.

Speaking of controversial opinions, the inferior athleticism (with a few exceptions) makes the WNBA significantly less interesting to me. They do play the game fundamentally better, though.

You might want to watch more. The athletic gains in the women’s game have been pretty remarkable.

I have been watching...why I said there are exceptions. But until they can do what I see Lebron, Ant, Zion, Ja, etc do game in game out, it just isn't the same for me.

The play is more fundamentally sound. Like Euro.

Lol but Graham makes sense on his ancient apocalypse Netflix series. He’s had multiple podcasts, a couple with Joe Rogan, which he explains his hypothesis.

He doesn’t make sense, he makes the same pseudo scientific claims masquerading as sense as he and others always have. Below is a decent read if you’d like to understand more:

Graham Hancock is certainly not the mainstream but his theories are plausible

Here’s some counter arguments supporting Graham Hancock

Human migration to the Americas might not be just from Asia thru Bering strait, possibly others/older ones

There’s sphinx water erosion debate which would put the sphinx age pre-dynastic Egypt
