The Buddy Hield experience is still pretty up and down but when he's on he is SO on. |

Everything in that franchise blows, from top to bottom. From management to coaching to the training staff that can't keep Zion motivated or in shape. A dead end franchise if I've ever seen one. People say the Clippers are cursed, but at least they are competitive. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

It also helps that he wanted to be a Warrior, if you check out the time he was acquired by the Warriors he said he basically choose the Warriors so he can be on a winning team |

They really miss Trey Murphy, but they still need to trade BI, if they want this situation to work then come out and say that BI is committed to the Pelicans season |

I think the Pels would have been alright had they kept Valenciunas. BI scored 30pts on 12-17 from the floor with 3-6 from 3, He did only score 14 and 21 in two other games this season but also scored 33pts in the opener averaging 25 over the 4 so far.
Dumping Valanciunas and announcing that they will be starting 6’7” 206lbs Herb Jones at center seems to indicate that the org doesnt know wtf it’s doing and is more of a prob than BI. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Why say trade BI? Is it because he scored 30pts on 12-17 from the floor with 3-6 from 3? He did only score 14 and 21 in two other games this season but also scored 33pts in the opener, maybe they should trade him for that, scoring 30 & 33 in two of the 4 games and averaging 25 is bad for tanking. |
He wants max money and the Pelicans don’t want to give it to him maybe having good performances can be beneficial for BI |

Yea, agree, but the sarcasm was to show that their struggles may not be BI’s fault as he seems to be playing well for them in the 4 games so far, and to point out dumping Valanciunas to announce a 6’7” 200lb SF as their starting C could be more of the problem coming from FO/Coaching. _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. Now thats a good deal for DLO. Im sure Chi wouldnt mind coming off his contract and DLO can give them the socring and passing but more important is healthy.
For the Lakers they still get the big guard that defends and can also shoot the 3 and distribute the ball. While he injured they can try to Groom AR as a Pg which will end in failure...well? like last year when Ham tried it. But its just a stop gap until Lonzo would come back able to play
For all the people saying this is a bad trade..You have to give to get...each has their problems so no team gets a Crazy win either way but it satisfies some of their holes of each team.....just saying |
Lakers get nothing. Zo cannot stay on the court. Period. Full stop. |
You really dont get it do you? Shawn Livington and ZION couldnt stay on the court too right? Look Lonzo has everyting you "wonderful" fans cry..whooops "want". If his injury was to the same body part or leg or ankle I would say you have a point..but in this instance you blind...Its a sprain to his hand...
Based on people like your wonderful self he would be able to be gotten as im sure GMs would think just like you..and wouldnt mind getting anything for him...Its a win win for BOTH TEAMS.....unless you like getting LAKERS TAXED. |
The lakers traded a hurt Lonzo who got hurt rookie year and missed a return table, and then got hurt the second year and missed another return table and the rest of the year on an injury he was set to return for by the start of May. They dealt the damaged Lonzo to the Pelicans where he again improved his game every year but also was hurt every year and missed return time tables for to the point they let him walk. And the bulls got him, liked him, and he got hurt again and has spent more time hurt than healthy in the bulls payroll system.
No team expecting to get Lonzo thinks he will get magically healthy. Maybe if he ran into the suns in 2010 sure but not now. The same can be said to a lesser degree to Ingram. |
Still not getting it?...smh. YOu are trading a one year rental for another one year rental....buy low sell high.....ZION nor AD has ever played a full season seems like but they seem to be out there at the present. When Lonzo is healthy he becomes everyrhing Lakers cry for....If lonzo does good you can maintain the contract..if he doesnt the contract comes off the books..smh and you can find that pie in the sky "name brand" PG many "wonderful" fans think is going to fall in their lap. You have a Lakers Tax and some social media and fans contribute to that TAX...lol..and seem not to know it. No team is the lakers going to steal away players from. You will be sending away your future for said average platyer..ie draft picks attached...The same Draft picks needed when LA KANG is gone or slows down and does his 1 year retirement tour. |

The Jazz are doing their best to get Cooper Flagg. I also think the Celtics are going to try to break the GSW 73 wins record. They look extremely motivated this year even coming off a title |

I thought BI looked good with DJM, but that was only one game. Scored with ease when he didn't have to facilitate. I haven't tuned into any games since then, but all you have to do is look at the Pels forums and podcasts. They know the team does not have a high ceiling.
And CJ... my god I will never stop talking trash about CJ. He's like if you gave Lou Williams 30+ min a game and the greenlight to shoot. The end result of his style of play ends in disaster 95% of the time. The more he plays, the greater the probably of a loss for them, which is great for opponents in the playoffs.
They have so many issues, with management and coaching being the biggest problems, that I think one of Zion or BI is gone. It's not working because Zion just camps in the paint and doesn't even roll to the basket on screens. They look so bad together. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

That's what happens when you just assemble talent with no vision. DJM isn't a good fit for them either, imo. |

Keep an eye on the Pels. I have a feeling BI will be moved soon.
Maybe to the Jazz for Lauri and Kessler. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

FYI this might be the worst draft class in NBA history: https://sports.yahoo.com/the-nba-rookie-class-is-off-to-the-worst-start-in-league-history-163620762.html
Suns got a steal in Ryan Dunn. Raps got Jamal Shead in the 2nd round. Knecht shouldn't have dropped to 17th. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Lauri can't be traded this season. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Prob more like BI for a Kuminga but both of them asking for the max. I could see the clips making a play at BI too _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |
