We have to keep walker at any cost. Talent means (bleep) if you don’t have the heart of a lion and ice in the vein. He’s the anti Kershaw, got to keep him. |

If anyone can do it, its us with the talent and more importantly, we have the confidence and experience to execute in the biggest moments |

Jeter When Freddie went up to give him a hug, he looked like he didn't want to. Yankees are Freddie's (bleep) now. |

Imagine going into the playoffs with a healthy Glasnow and Shohei next season!

You could have an All-Star team of starters and you just never know. Short series, there are just so many variables in this sport. This was our year. I do agree that on paper, we'll be stronger next year. But who knows. Just so damn happy to get this one. You never know when a gigantic drought will happen. I take nothing for granted. |
Nah, we're going back to back brotha! Speak it into existence! |

far from that monster of a team.. I mean, we don't even have half of what Mariano Rivera was. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Crazy how it all started with the Yankees messing up like 3 plays. Defense matters! _________________ Lakers. Built different. |

Seriously this is like the 2000 WCF Finals Game 7....where after we overcame that.....the Shaq/Kobe Lakers almost always seemed to figure it out in big moments and never let the moment become too big. This kind of game could be our key to becoming a dynasty |

Kershaw should not be catching strays on such a joyous night for Dodger-nation. |

One of the worst pitchers in the league during the regular season, and in the postseason he should have allowed zero runs, if it wasn't for that shoddy inning in San Diego. The guy just has the mental fortitude to get it done. He had great velocity there but more importantly, he had a great curveball somehow on 1 day of rest. That 3-2 breaking ball to Wells was an absolutely masterful pitch. The guy just knows what to do in the postseason. |
I'm sure I sounded crazy, but I wanted Roberts to keep starting Buehler despite the losses and possible 2nd place finish. I had a weird feeling the season might come down to Walker relearning to pitch. |
You did sound crazy. Turns out we were the crazy ones. I wanted him nowhere near a postseason roster spot until it got to a point that we actually had no other choice. |

For sure.....I get the Kershaw bashing as I have done it plenty but he was a great soldier for us who did have his own good moments in the postseason. |

I hate that I missed the comeback, I saw the score was 4-0 and I had to go do other things. When I came back it was tied at 5-5.... |

Definitely not. Not with 3 starters and Flaherty being so inconsistent. But it’s okay, we just needed to beat the 2024 Yankees instead.
We might be better than the 1996 Yankees but that team was significantly weaker than the teams that came later. |

As good as this feels, I wish Kershaw had been able to pitch a legacy game in the WS to erase all those bad memories from past playoff games. He deserves to have a legacy WS game. |
It’s ok next year he can be the driving force/motivation to go b2b. There’s a few guys on the team that want to be a bigger part of it next year. Glas, Kersh, Kelly if we keep him, Bobby etc. Heck given how unreal Ohtani is I’m sure he wants to play a more pivotal role in the outcome too. Plenty of guys in the clubhouse that will come in hungry and we need that. |

Yeah I missed it too and had to drop out of the thread. The team seemed to do fantastic recently when I wasn’t here. But that’s okay, I’ll watch the replay and I’d much rather watch a replay of this team winning than deal with the stress of game 6 with a potential game 7 looming. |

As some of you know, I am very much not a fan of the team, but as a fan of baseball, I totally get how special a World Series win against the Yankees is.
And despite my distaste for the team itself, I am very happy for my friends and family who are fans.
Enjoy. It's well earned. |
Thanks DaMulesRules. Who you got? |

If there was a MVP of a thread, I'd give it to SNIPE. When we were all saying game over and looking to game 6, snipe kept saying it's not over. I was ready to shut this game off but when Snipe kept saying it's not over, I kept it on because he called and got it right for Ohtani coming here and Yamamoto pitching great for NLDS game 5. |
