Congratulations to the Dodgers.

As some of you know, I am very much not a fan of the team, but as a fan of baseball, I totally get how special a World Series win against the Yankees is.

And despite my distaste for the team itself, I am very happy for my friends and family who are fans.

Enjoy. It's well earned.

We have to keep walker at any cost. Talent means (bleep) if you don’t have the heart of a lion and ice in the vein. He’s the anti Kershaw, got to keep him.

Buehler, Hernandez, guys like that you have to keep at all costs. We know we're going to get to the playoffs; we need proven guys for when we get there.

If there was a MVP of a thread, I'd give it to SNIPE. When we were all saying game over and looking to game 6, snipe kept saying it's not over. I was ready to shut this game off but when Snipe kept saying it's not over, I kept it on because he called and got it right for Ohtani coming here and Yamamoto pitching great for NLDS game 5.

Snipe, 1995 and others definitely kept the faith when others of us were far less certain

Yep. That's been my philosophy. The regular season is all but a given with this team. Look how injury riddled we've been and we still went the distance. Last season...we looked bad throughout the season and stumbled to 100 wins. Gotta keep the post season performers.

Yay......hey I was just thinking about it.....maybe Smoltz didnt want us to win because nobody can call us the 90s Braves anymore with 1 ring and consistent playoff failures.

I always thought Smoltz was the most clutch out of the 90’s Braves. He had some fantastic starts and his team really let him down. I can think of a couple World Series games he lost 1-0 (in both of them he gave up zero earned runs and one game was lost in extra innings after he was pulled), a game in the NLCS he lost 2-1 (again zero earned runs give up), and a game in the NLCS his team lost 3-2 in extra innings (he gave up 2 runs in 7 innings).

Pretty awful support from his teammates there both on defense and offense. And Smoltz still had a 15-4 postseason record.

Instead of hating on our team maybe he should hate on his teammates for choking so much.

I think after all the history, and the Dodgers sticking with him through the injuries, I hope Walker stays at a fair price for both sides. We have a glut of pitching (in theory).

I'd like Teo to stay too, but I'm much less optimistic at those chances. He was in a great situation with all the attention other guys in the lineup get. It allowed him great opportunities to capitalize on mistakes. Truthfully, I don't think he replicates that kind of success on most other teams if he decides to leave. It will certainly require him to give a discount to the Dodgers to keep him here, so we will see how mutual it is for both sides.

Dude Buehler was crying. You could just see all the emotions bottled up inside of him.

So redeeming. He's had a tough few years.

Parade will take place on Friday. Same day that would have been Fernando’s 64th birthday.

Kind of love that Shohei struggled. You know he’ll be motivated to get back so he can dominate and carry the team to a back to back

This one is special.
A) It was versus the Yankees
B) Dodgers fans finally got to see a run from start to completion in front of a packed house of Dodger fans for the first time since 1988.
C) One of the few times that Dodger fans stopped blaming Dave Roberts.

One run allowed in 19 World Series innings for Walker Buehler. Truly spectacular. Yeah, I'm OK with bringing him back. Maybe his arm just needed the full year to fully acclimate. Or maybe he will just suck in the regular season from now on; who cares, at this point?

This is also why I'd have interest in Snell as a free agent. Regular season is irrelevant for him. Have to have serious interest in Teo back as well. Murders lefties and that was a huge reason our fortunes turned around against southpaws this season. Edman helps there too. Assuming no Soto (and I don't really think he'll be on the table), just bring Teo back. He's in his prime and he mashes. And likes the big stage.

Guttiest team ever. As an anti Dave guy I will give it up. Great postseason by Dave. Best bullpen in baseball. Nice to see Buehler on the mound in the 9th. Baseball is not dead regardless of claims to the contrary.

Really enjoyed our season together. Cheers
