Hornets are 8-27. If the Lakers think they're going to a picnic they may end up being the lunch. Even though the Lakers are not what they used to be teams show up to beat them because they are the vaunted Lakers. Watch Seth and LeMelo show up and show out. If JJ doesn't have them ready to play they're going to lose.

If DFS starts for Ruu then Lakers will win this. |
So the Lakers are losing then. |
If rui gets hot then they might win. |
We are not winning or losing because of a single player. Stop this nonsense! |
It's more non-sense that 6 points from rui in 25 freaking mins is good enough for the lakers to win. lmfao.
if he aint consistent on offense at least, might as well sit his ass out or bring him off the bench.
https://nbaanalysis.net/la-lakers-legend-gives-verdict-on-rui-hachimura-scoring-six-points-in-loss-to-dallas-mavericks/
Worthy said: “In a game where it’s a little more physical, he could have been more aggressive, going to the cup, taking advantage of his physicality, his size, his strength.
“Sometimes he gets lost in the mix. He can’t afford to have sub-par games, he’s one of the big three or four guys on this team.”
In a game where the Mavericks really targeted Austin Reaves and tried to shut down his impact, and did so effectively, it was even more important Hachimura stepped up, and he was unable to make his mark.

Thank you TDR I've been searching for that information. I had a feeling the game was going to be postponed. Watching the news my heart goes out to those affected. I misted once or twice listening to those who lost all. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Here’s hoping by the time we play the Spurs the fires start decreasing and the situation becomes less intense, the Lakers end up playing the Hornets in between the SA games this week |

Anybody living in the area stay safe out there people!
Watching our team stink it up on top of a wildfire would be too much.
Crazy seeing all the pictures you'd think hell has arrived. |

Can't do that. That would mean the Lakers play three games in three nights, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The next possible date (after tomorrow, Friday, which is surely too early) to avoid three games in three nights is Sunday, Feb. 2nd.
EDIT: Wasn't looking at the Hornet's schedule. Earliest chance (tomorrow, Friday, is out) is Wedneday, Feb. 19th, which is like the last day after the All Star break before the two teams are scheduled to resume play. The way it looks 2/19 is the only date it could be played without one of the teams playing three games in three days. |

Can they play the SA games twice and then re-schedule the Hornets game after that? Can’t be that difficult |

Yep, I went to work in darkness yesterday morning. School canceled yesterday after one half day, and the rest of the week after an anouncement today.
Folks lost loved ones and serious property. Prayers for all! |

I just went out to the store for the first time since everything today. I'm not in a Fire area but where I am has been consistently orange hazy and smelled smokey. I'm definitely feeling it in my lung rn.
My Family in Pasadena are OK for now although they've been under evacuation warning. But I do have two friends who lost everything in the Altadena fire, and one in the Palisades fire. I'm born and raised here. The whole experience has been quite devastating. |

Tragic man. Saw the drone footage and it looks like an atomic bomb was dropped. We need investigations once this ordeal is over. People need to be held accountable for what happened. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Wasn't it because of there being incredible drought in the city combined with he scorching hot weather and strong winds that contributed to it?
There's clips of Joe Rogan talking talking with some Fireman who said this would be inevitable months ago. |

Prayers for all, I hope the firefighters and all other responders involved can get this contained soon. I'm way up north by about 1000 miles, but seeing coverage of the devastation is heartbreaking. All the houses, schools and communities. Some things are replaceable, others simply aren't. There's a lot of rebuilding ahead. For all fellow LG ppl dealing with this up close and personal, I hope you stay safe and your loved ones as well. |
