Thanks! Now this info is reason for optimism lol! I was scared hearing they were optimistic that he could return in the next couple of weeks!

Thanks, see it now. I’ve been just so disappointed and pessimistic it’s hard to over come an overreaction to questionable news. Now that you pointed it out this is reason for optimism.

As much as he can obviously help with some things that the Lakers are REALLY struggling with right now, I'm still pessimistic because of his lack of a jumper and mostly any offense in general.
The only players that are like that in today's NBA are Cs who are surrounded by shooters.
I just don't know if that'll work.
Maybe his return makes it more feasible to trade for a Vucevic, who is the rare C who can actually space the floor. He's great on offense and can also rebound. Maybe Vooch/Vando can be a good counterbalance to each other.
I don't know if I buy that myself, but it's something to consider trying if the Lakers don't want to make any bigger moves using their draft picks. |

I’m curious about an all defensive lineup of

All we do is Iso AD offensively anyways. Just spam that against opposing teams bench big and try to get stops and run every other time.

AD is the primary ball handler in that defensive minded group. No one else should even bother dribbling lol!
That line up would result in a lot of stops, on both ends of the floor 🤣

Lakers will practice tomorrow. They typically don’t practice if there is only 1 day off but tonight’s game is being rescheduled. This practice could be particularly significant as Jarred Vanderbilt is reportedly playing 5 on 5 w/ coaches, perhaps allows him to jump in w/ the team

At this point, it's gonna take the man himself checking into a real NBA game for me to believe he's actually going to be back. He's just a tease, for years.

Well this is Vando's thread. General injury information is in the Injury Thread. But last thing said about Wood the other day is that he's progressing without any setbacks. But nothing has been said about a return to play yet. |

| Jarred Vanderbilt & Bronny James have been assigned to the South Bay Lakers, likely to help with Vando's recovery from foot surgery and get Bronny some experience since he has played sparingly for the LA Lakers. |

I’ve heard the mythical stories too but always took them as ancient fiction due to the unreal accounts of his powers which just seemed too unrealistically far fetched. 🤣
The rumors are that they’ve found some archeological remains and have a plan to re-animate them but the accounts of the find look nothing like the stories.
