I would be shocked if this isn’t postponed again, it’s been getting worse since the Hornets game got canceled, they can’t control the fires, it’s spreading through out LA County

The NBA is postponing Lakers-Spurs and Clippers-Hornets games on Saturday in Los Angeles due to ongoing wildfires in Southern California, sources tell me and @malika_andrews.

Lakers/Clips might have to have a temp home court until the fires are under control. Vegas?

I think they will need to use part of the all-star break to get caught up on the schedule. Or delay the play-in tourney.

Prayers to all the victims and those in harms way.

If they have the games be played in Vegas it would make it easier to do the re-scheduling

More rest. Theme of the season. Unfortunately it will eventually disappear

Yeah I've heard a few People in media commenting that if this is going to be an ongoing thing which apparently unfortunately it is because neither one of the major fires are particularly contained yet then they may have to go to Las Vegas or Palm Springs or something to play these games.

They can play in Vegas or wherever but the issue is that these teams are all scheduled to play almost every other day for the rest of the season. And one team is scheduled for one day off while the other postponed team is scheduled for that day in the future. Players are going to get injured playing three days in a row.

Yep that was brought up during the thing I was listening to. Also just as someone who often has access to tickets to go to games like OK just because I have time to drop off at crypto on a Wednesday night after work doesn't mean I have time to go out to like Vegas or Palm Springs all of a sudden so you know I'm sure there's a logistical element as to how to handle the season ticket holders in particular. It's Le complicated for sure.
