If this isn't already posted it should be. There are several versions on YT. This is my favorite but they are all worth a listen. The version from the Crossroads festival in Chicago is mighty fine too.

Midnight in Harlem - Tedeschi Trucks Band
This is frigging awesome. We are enjoying the hell out of this right now on a Friday night.

I'll second the notion; this is quite a tasty treat. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo"

One of my favorite bands to see live for sure. And this is a gem. _________________ "You know it seems the more we talk about it, it only makes it worse to live without it."

I listened to the latest David Gilmore album and this video found me. For fans of David Gilmore, this is quite a treat, with his daughter doing the vocals and another of his unmistakable guitar style and tone, solos as the creme de la creme.
i've been playing it a lot lately. So cool to hear his soulful guitar on new material. And in a few of the cuts, the structure and textures he brought to Floyd really stand out. I mean The Piper's Call and the second half of Dark and Velvet Nights . . .? Come on!
And the song in that video is lovely. Romany has a gorgeous voice. She's also the subject of my favorite meme with her dad: LINK _________________ "You know it seems the more we talk about it, it only makes it worse to live without it."
Another one found me: David and Romany. Interesting and clever compilation of The Piper's Call from different venues that actually gets to a bit of jamming. Great stage setting. Great visuals. Great guitar from a great guitarist. This one's a full screener.

There are probably not that many Dead fans in this forum (for which I consider myself) and even fewer Dead Heads, but even for those who are not fans, the music, the scene, the iconic memes and characters, are forever a part of California music culture. Here is a celebration of the band, with the surviving members watching on and with Jerry and Phil not forgotten, and a reminder of just how good some of their songs were.

Loved the Dead, saw them and Jerry Garcia Band about 100 times in total.
A lot of things made them great, but their songwriting was next level, complex stuff that was pretty amazing considering many of their best stuff was written when they were quite young yet has lots of complex music and lyrics steeped in history and such that you wouldn't expect from young guys.
True originals for sure. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny
Was listening to some Gary Moore yesterday and this came on, I had to put it on repeat for a few more times. What a great tune. Great guitarist, miss him.

Gary Moore was a great guitarist, known mostly for his Blues licks and Thin Lizzy work. But after his time with Sid Row and before Thin Lizzy, he ventured into Progressive Rock. In 1973 he released his "Grinding Stone" album, filled with some hot innovative work, and several long complex songs, akin to other progressive releases at the time, by Yes, Pink Floyd and Genesis..
The original US release was horribly pressed, I now have the CD, which is much better...
This song was recorded (live) at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, I was there when it was taped. They contracted with Laserium to do the lights. They did not announce they were recording the song for an album release, and I did not know until it was actually released many months later...
