Well, the Lakers seem intent on retiring anyone. They lost a lot of validity retiring Cooper's. So, why not?
If Cooper is retired, then Derek Fisher, Byron Scott and Robert Horry should all be retired as well! That's not even counting Pau Gasol! You know also that LeBron will be up in our rafters.
Those retired jersey's are becoming meaningless. _________________ Don't make me give you a trout slap!

If Horry, Fish or Scott make the Hall they should be retired.

Gasol
Mikan
Wilkes

If he is elected to the HOF (a 99.9% certainty), then his number should be retired here because that's what the Lakers do. I mean, we retired Gail Goodrich's number.
Nah, he brought us a championship when we needed it the most. Unfortunately he got injured and wasn't able to defend the title vs Milwaukee. He deserves his jersey up their _________________

Coop made the HOF. That’s the prerequisite. AD won a title with us and he will be in HOF. So easily yes
