What a great get Poona Ford is! Had a PFF grade of something like 85 last year, which I think was 5th among all DT's. Elite run-stuffer. The Rams got trampled by the run far too often last season, and you think about Saquon breaking several long runs in both losses to the Eagles.
Jimmy G's guarantee is only for $4.5MM, with a lot more available in incentives. So that's very reasonable; he's one of the best backups in the league.
The Rams need LB help, so I'd expect that to be addressed either in free agency or the draft. Same with CB, as Ahkello Witherspoon and Darious Williams were mediocre starting corners in 2024. (Witherspoon is a free agent and Williams is heading into the final year of his deal and could be a cut candidate.)

Bobby Brown signs with the Panthers. Obviously, the Rams upgraded with Poona Ford, and Brown's departure was a foregone conclusion once that happened. Good luck to him with the Panthers.
The Rams don't win the super bowl without Cooper Kupp. Good luck the rest of your career! _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Dre Greenlaw to the Broncos. They've signed two former 49er defenders today, along with Hufanga. So the 49ers have lost 3 defensive starters today, including Charvarius Ward.

Damn..was hoping Rams scoop up Greenlaw. At least SF gets weaker.
Now that teams have received their compensatory selections, the 2025 NFL Draft order is officially set and was unveiled by the league on Tuesday.
Including the special compensatory pick received, the Rams currently have seven total picks to work with in this year's draft, which will be held April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Here's what Los Angeles' allotment currently looks like:

The Rams are going to release Cooper Kupp. I'd like to see him go to the Chargers. He would be a good fit and wouldn't have to move his family and disrupt his children's lives. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Dang! He was very underappreciated. I don't know if Tutu can be counted on as a #3 on a consistent basis. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Since I couldn't recall and there may be others who also forgot or simply don't pay that much attention, the reason there is no #2 pick is that they used it to move up to get Fiske.

I sure wish the best for him in the near term. I'd like to see him return to the Rams as a coach someday. _________________ Hey Doge, ever hear of “measure twice, cut once?” It is not cut first and measure later.

I think Davante essentially takes his role, obviously with much more volume. But Davante is a big red zone guy, and Robinson got a lot of end zone targets. Robinson also had the size and ball skills to win down the field, and Adams can still do that, too. Atwell comes onto the field and just adds pure speed on every down, and we've been missing that in our offense. He's produced whenever he's been given chances. Now's the time. (I think he was something like 19th among all WR's last year in the yards per route run metric.) Of course, the Rams run 11 personnel (3 WR's on the field) most of the time. And between Puka's injury history, Davante's age, and Atwell being on the small side, I'll guess that Whittington still sees decent playing time this season, as he'd be the first man up should anything happen to the 3 guys ahead of him.
I see the vision. Puka and Davante being route-running savants who are both tough, and Tutu taking short passes near the LOS and also getting open for deep shots.

SUPERKUPP to the Chargers?

That would be a great fit in my opinion. That team needs some players to get them to the next level and he would be one of those who has experience winning.
With Kupp being released the Rams picked up $7.5M in cap space. They now have around $30M in cap space. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

Davante Adams is a good receiver. I don't think he pass and run blocks like Kupp. I don't know anything about his personality. Will he have the chemistry Matt and Kupp had? I hope he works out. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I think you're right. Kupp was solid on EVERY play. On the other hand, Puka seems to be that way too. Some of their effectiveness is on Coach and some with Stafford (who helped Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate become stars), so since these two variables will remain, I'm very optimistic that DA will work out just fine. _________________ Hey Doge, ever hear of “measure twice, cut once?” It is not cut first and measure later.

Puka and Cooper were equal in pass and run protection. They played every down whether or not they were going to get the ball. That's not the coach it's the player. Why 176 teams passed on Nacua is beyond me. DeVante is going to put some work in to replace SuperKupp. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

The Rams moved on from Kupp because he could no longer get open and create separation. The metrics on this were dire. Last year he was something like 141st out of 150 qualifiers. The year before, somewhere in the 120's. Adams has ranked in the top 15 or so in this metric for the past 4 years. Kupp was actively hurting the team last season, as it was apparent to me that even rookie Jordan Whittington was much better on tape. Sometimes, tough decisions need to be made. As a fan, I prioritize winning above all else, and I appreciate when management makes moves to try to achieve that goal.

If he gets hit how will Adams react? It's football. You're gonna get hit. If he doesn't like getting hit will he run and pass block? Catching passes over the middle takes heart. Does Davante have any? Is he a prima donna? Personality is important. I hope he fits.

Kupp to the Seahawks, per Schefter. He's from the state of Washington so I suppose it makes sense, plus their WR depth chart was lacking after the DK trade.
Yep. Seattle makes a lot of sense for Kupp. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
