A longtime NBA big man has reportedly died at 54 years old on Wednesday.
Former NBA veteran Oliver Miller has reportedly died. Eddie Johnson, a former NBA swingman, announced the tragic news on Wednesday afternoon. Miller, a Fort Worth, Texas native, played in the league for more than a decade.
Miller, a 6-foot-9 big man, was a first round NBA Draft pick out of Arkansas in 1992. He was a standout performer in college, winning Southwest Conference Player of the Year in 1991. He went on to be the No. 22 overall pick in the '92 Draft by the Phoenix Suns.

Johnson, who played 17 NBA seasons, announced the tragic passing on Wednesday.
"I am so sad to report we have lost another @NBA Fraternity member! Nine year veteran Oliver Miller has passed away at age 54! Going to miss you Big O. ππΏππΏππΏππΏ. RIP," he announced.
Miller began his career with the Phoenix Suns. He then played for the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks. Miller's career took him to Europe in the late 1990s, before returning to the NBA. He spent 1999 with the Kings before going back to the Phoenix Suns.
The longtime NBA big man went on to play for several other non-NBA franchises in the early 2000s. He did spend the 2003-04 season with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Miller finished his NBA career with 3,625 points, 2,893 rebounds and 758 blocks. Tributes for Miller are pouring in on social media.
"Rest in peace to the great Oliver Miller. A legend in every sense of the word," one fan wrote.
"Rest in Peace, Oliver Miller. One of the greatest Hogs of all time, as well as a great human being," one fan added.

Different guy.
Anthony "Pig" Miller was a former Laker PF who was moved so we could create cap room for Shaq.
Oliver Miller was about 60 (more like 100) pounds heavier than Pig Miller, but was surprisingly nimble and a good player.
RIP, Oliver. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |
