No, Davis & Max were not enough! Nowhere near enough, and everybody and their mamas know it! How in the hell are they ungrateful? How are they supposed to be grateful for the return they got in a player who is past his prime, and the other player, who is nowhere near his prime, and will not even come close to the player they were traded for?
They're still hurting, they're still angry and they're still in shock!
What is wrong with you to label hurting, confused and shocked people as ungrateful and clowns? Humans have to emote and grieve because it sure in the hell would be what I and a lot of others fans would have done in the exact same circumstances.
Are they supposed to be thankful because Davis came back, and is leading them to an exact position they do not want? Like the playin or missing the playoffs altogether?
What would you do in the exact same circumstances as the Mavs' fans?
Again, I ask, what are they supposed to be grateful for? |

You don’t boo and chant fire Nico when Max Christie is at the free throw line embarrassing him on national television.. so there’s that.
They can be unhappy with the trade, that’s fine. But embarrassing your own players like that is trash and that’s why Dallas is a trash franchise.
Max is a good young player.. he doesn’t deserve that. |

By your logic lakers fans should have never said anything to Russ or to Keame even.
Max is a trash return for Luka. Not good, not equal, it’s trash as a return. AD is okay as a return but he’s not great either. And they have watched the team fall apart and them not prooduce. AD is magically hurt and limited after 4 days off but he’s was fine enough to drop 34 and 27 back to back until the lights got bright and Luka came to town. There was every right to be disappointed in both the return they got and the way AD didn’t produce or show up |

Have you even watched Dallas games? I have because i like Christie and AD. AD has no business being out there as he's still injured. You mention two games. He was good in that atlanta game he wasn't good against the clippers.
He hasn't looked good ever since he forced himself back after re-aggravating the abductor.
The blatant disrespect for a dude who was instrumental in getting a chip in 2020 after we were knee deep in irrelevancy being branded a joke of a franchise is hilarious to me.
Nobody said it's equal value. AD is still a great player at his best he's a top 10 player in the league imo. He's not gonna get a chance to win those fans over because they're already checked out.
The only reason that team fell apart post trade was because they were ravaged by injuries. Kidd almost had to forfeit games because they didn't know if they had enough players. |
