With him being a free agent, there is talk about him possibly going to the Celtics...if he were to go, once he finished up there, would you allow him to return to the Lakers?

After he goes to the Celtics? H to the no!

I wouldn't even welcome him now where he would be a year younger (or less old might be a better description) and wouldn't be tainted green.

I would take Shaq now, but not if he went to the celtics first.

With Shaq, Odom, Bynum & Gasol teams will have ZERO answers for our frontline. Why don't people see this? This is not high school where we keep guys away just because of a few words years ago.

Some of you guys astound me. Kobe was talking (bleep) about Shaq just 2 weeks ago. why would he ever accept him on his team again? As long as Kobe is still in uniform Shaq will never play as a Laker again.

If they play on the same team till Shaq retires, Kobe is guaranteed to stay ahead of him in the ring count.

Going to Celtics, he can forget about hanging his jersey.

I think Shaq really values that.

That's what I thought so as well, until after he left Heat, he trashed their medical team and Pat Riley, Steve Nash personally told the Suns FO to ship Shaq out, and he created locker room problems and fought against the coach DURING the playoffs.

I doubt lakers would even consider offering Shaq a deal after he has been with the Celtics

Shaq plays smart basketball. He can bring a lot to our team. C'mon guys, he brings 3 titles to this team & you didn't want him back... It's gonna be perfect that he finish his great career in LA squad. He says some things you didn't like. So what. Back then he feel that way... He was No.1 option in Lakers for a long time & we dump him and send to another squad... I would feel the same way like he did... SHAQ ATTACK - BACK!!!!!!

he just needs to retire. we will hang up his jersey and have a thank you night for him, maybe maybe a statue. that's about it. please, just get him out of here already. maybe he could work as a consultant or run the laker's charity/public relations events or as a game commentator. that's about it. the last thing we need is someone to mess with team chemistry.

LL LL I have to ask, why this post, it's been discussed numerous times? Shaq is a cancer that has been exorcized, why re-infect? We don't need Shaq or players of his ilk, those who play for money ONLY.
