I'll miss your humor and intelligent analysis in threads, and your transparency as a mod. Well done on both counts.

I hope you reconsider sticking around as a poster. Even sporadic postings from someone who's a great poster are far more preferable than no postings at all.

And as someone who posts in spurts, I can tell you that I have no trouble getting right into the swing of things, even when I haven't been on in a while.

Good luck in the future in any case, but don't be a stranger.

Like Magic's announcement that he was HIV positive and Kobe's indictment in Colorado, your story will rock the sports world for years to come.

We are all so lucky that you blessed others with your presence on a basketball message board, and no doubt, your next endeavors will be of an equally significant scale. But then again, how can you possibly follow up the glorious contribution to the world that we witnessed on LG? Impossible.

I am sure your storied involvement on LG will soon be adapted into novels, Hollywood blockbusters and ESPN films. In the meantime, those of us who were around to witness the wonder of you will always remember the Shakespearean posts, the Solomonesque moderation, and the humble way in which you announced the end of your awesome message board awesomeness.

I urge everyone to fly their Lakers flags on their car window mounts today, but do so at half mast.
