I also go way back to the courtTV forums with 'Tony', during the trial. One of my favorite posters. An intelligent and thoughtful person who always had something great to say, and I always looked forward to reading his takes.
I am so sorry for your loss. Tony will be missed. |

I am very sorry to hear this. My condolences to the Tony Montana family, and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. LG is a family, and when we receive news like this, it truly hurts all of us.
I enjoyed Tony Montana's presence on the board for years. Not only were his basketball posts great reads, it was clear to everyone he was level headed, intelligent, and most importantly, a wonderful person. I considered him a friend and part of the family here, and someone I always looked forward to having on the board to talk to. He will be greatly missed.
RIP, TM. |

I am not sure if it is the combination with my age (41) and lifes current circumstances but this darned thread/post has really challenged my tear ducts....
I wish elementary school was allowed to teach us about death.. about how every moment you and I are breathing is actually a GIFT.. and any we appreciate in our lives are gifts too
All those who faced a serious illness and won all say they wish someone told them early on that life ENDS... because as soon as they felt that POWER.. holy (bleep) they started living like they never did before
IMhumble Opinion WE are all ALL supposed to do the best we can to advance our species.. to live with more enthusiasm than any generation before us
ONELOVE! |

This is exactly how I feel. I never knew TM, but it is truly apparent that he was a swell egg. I read about the tumultuous year he was going through and my one salvation is that he's in a much better place.
RIP Tony and my condolences to his family. |

RIP Tony. He gave me two free Laker tickets (my first Laker game) several years ago. I didn't know him personally, but he obviously had a big heart. I'll never forget his gift. |

Thank you all for your outpouring of support and condolences. Our family will always be Laker fans and your words will continue to help us heal from our loss. This is goodbye from us for now. Go Lakers! Peace and prosperity to all.
