Pretty sure that makes McBob expendable. Jamison/Hill off the bench is solid.

Fab Five of Nash/Bryant/Artest/Gasol/Bynum with a nice bench of
Jamison, Hill, McRoberts, Blake, we r looking good. Does the Jordan Hill signing mean we our out of the Howard Chase.

First, hell yes! Great job by LA... thought he was gone.

Now, curious about the timing and his comments re: Nash. Sure he didn't just wake up and think "uh, Nash... hell ya." Wonder if the holdout has been the possibility of inclusion in a S&T and a signal LA has had enough.

Nice!! Mitch is having one hell of an offseason so far. A front court rotation of Pau, Drew/Dwight, Jamison, and Hill is damn good. No we just need a decent backup 2.... Delonte West?

Does this mean we're out of the Jermaine O'Neal sweepstakes?

We should be able to get a solid guard for him, hopefully.

Okay, great. We've got Hill back and we're paying a pretty penny for him. Now let's move McRoberts contract either to a team that has a TE and will take his entire salary off our hands or for help at SG/SF. We'd probably be wanting to cut salary so we could send McRoberts to a team for a player making about $2.2-$2.3M assuming that team is over the cap. That might be enough to get a good player in S&T. That amount is a little over the BAE of $1.9M.

How is that paying a pretty penny for him? That's what we can pay him and he's def worth that much +++ more.

He's worth that salary but Lakers are essentially spending double what his salary is when the luxury tax is factored in.

Blake on paper seems like a good fit for a backup PG. He's safe, hits outside shots, plays D. but in reality, there are too many games where he has less impact on the Game than my uncle Lester who's sitting on the couch scratching his butt and eating cheetos.

GREAT Jordan hill news! I was a bit scared he'd leave, but now we've solidified a nice bench. Re-sign Ebanks, see if there's anything else out there to bolster the bench a bit more, and we're set.

Smart move by Hill. Play for a contender and worry about the money after you've got rings. Someone will sign him to a deal just bc of his "playoff/championship experience" well after his good days are over.

If we can get West or Foye or hell even Jodie Meeks, I'd be happy.
