Sure, it's a risk that Howard could leave. But so could Bynum. If you're only giving up Bynum and a future 1st, you do it. Bynum is a fit as a #1 offensive option, which he won't be in LA. The Lakers need Howard for defense. |

This is hardly news -- Lakers will sign him w/ his bird rights to the largest contract once the season is finished. |

This could go down as one of the worst trades in NBA History (for Magic), great start Hennigan, great start. As for the Lakers, fantastic.

3. Kobe looks old.
4. MWP is terrible.
5. Our bench sucks.
You heard it hear first. That is how this board works.
WE ARE NOT GOING 82-0 as D Wade said. Keep everything in perspective. This off season has its pros and cons. | Ban |
HAHA!!! I guess you don't know the reality of this board. Trust me, i'm happy as can be. I just hope this board doesn't get all negative like it usually does during the season. |

You are right. The Lakers may have a ton of talent, but the talent doesn't mix well and there are plenty of holes. Additionally, the coaching staff doesn't have a clue how to run this team. So the Lakers are not going 82 and 0. |

If McRoberts isn't included, it would be awesome if we could swap him for say Anthony Morrow. |

Stein does cover the Mavs so he has to throw that out there, but we all know that no superstar will ever leave the Lakers to go to Dallas. |
Not to mention the added year and the tens of millions of dollars extra he will get with LA. |

There is no reason Dwight will leave money on the table to go to Dalllas. But he isn't signing an extension either , he stands to make a lot more by kicking in his bird rights next summer _________________ "The NBA On NBC" Circa late 1990's
