LakersGround Charity Drive in Honor of Dr. Buss

Some of you have been asking what LakersGround can do in honor of Jerry Buss. We all know how much he meant to everything Lakers and to the community. In honor of Dr. Buss, we would like to make a donation to the Lakers Youth Foundation on behalf of the LakersGround community.

The Youth Foundation provides financial assistance to children and local youth programs. It's a great cause. Personally, most of my charity work is always associated with youth programs and orphans. So as part of this donation drive, I will kick it off with a $100 donation.

I already know a few of you who have said they would be making donations in our LG charity drive...please post here when you get a chance so we can thank you! This is a great move DB. As a fan living abroad, LG IS my lakers community. I'm proud to represent by giving back to the Lakers in recognition of the late great Dr. Buss.

Yea I've bought lots of merchandise and tickets (most recently last November), none of which have been cheap, but this isn't about the business, this is about showing appreciation as a community and paying forward the impact Dr. Buss had on our lives by making someone else's life better.
